With a baby, people ask how old and you say 5 months, 10 months, etc. When do you stop counting months? I'll admit to hating to have to do the math when you get into the 20's!

I thought I'd stop after a year, but it's just easier to count months!
14 months vs. 1 year 2 months.
eh. an extra syllable. haha.
Maybe I'll stop at 18. Say she's 1 1/2 for a couple of months, then "she'll be 2 in march."
we'll see!

I was wondering the same thing about weeks. I figured when he was 2 months old I'd start saying 2 months, but I notice I have said 9 weeks to many people this week.

I always hated that people used months, and then when I became a mom, I was one of them!!!! I think I stopped around 2 also. I just stopped using weeks at 4 months with DD

I wanted to stop at a year, but my DH would often correct me. I found that other parents would often ask wanting to know the exact month. So now I'm back to counting months again.

I have stopped at 2. I just tell people she is 2 now. I'll say 2.5, 3, 3.5, etc.

My son is 18 months, so I still count in months and will prob. do so until age 2.

Sometimes I give DD's month and sometimes I just say 2; depends upon who I am talking to.
