Do you vacuum when baby or LO is asleep or awake? I know noise shouldn't bother them, and we consciously try to keep regular noise levels going even when K is sleeping. I just haven't attempted to vacuum around her yet. So when do you vacuum and does the noise ever startle them awake?

I usually vacuum when she is awake, but will do it sometimes when she is sleeping too...it doesn't seem to wake her when I do though.

I do it when he's awake, although with his door closed and his white noise machine on it probably wouldn't wake him up.

I make a point to vacuum while she is napping. Hasn't woken her up yet!

i vacuum when he is asleep for the night, not during naps. his nap sleep is soooo much lighter than night time sleep.

Is never an option? lol! Seriously though, it's usually after she goes down for the night

As a baby, I did it whenever...usually when he was sleeping, but I did put him in the swing or bouncy seat at times and go ahead and vacuum.
When he was older (over a year) I did it right after putting him down for nap (while he was still awake). The noise acted like white noise and put him right out.

I alternate! Sometimes it works out better to do it while she's asleep, but if she is awake, she hangs out on my hip or in her exersaucer while I do it! I vacuum pretty much every day (joys of having a hairy dog!) so she is used to it!

I usually put him in the swing awake while I vacuum. It takes me a while because I have to vacuum the couch and usually he falls asleep while I'm vacuuming!

I always vacuumed when she was asleep as a newborn.

When she was a newborn, I vacuumed our downstairs as soon as she fell asleep. She never woke up. Now a days, I vacuum while she's awake (she's 13 months now). I feel like she's a lighter sleeper now than when she was younger.

LO loves the vaacum. It will actually stop her from fussing. We have a dog so I vacuum at least once a day usually when she is awakw and playing on her play mat.

I vacuum while she's napping. She loves the noise and it hasn't woken her up yet! Sometimes she wakes up when it gets turned off so I try to time it so that ill finish vacuuming around the end of her nap.
