I don't know how to answer this.

I think as long as they're both adult enough to handle the responsibility of managing their own household.

I'd like them to graduate from college before getting married. I don't think there is really a right age, so long as they are mature and seem ready?

Age is just a number. I would say once they feel secure in themselves and feel like they can grow with someone rather than apart as they grow individually. Ideally post-college but beyond that, totally open.

My preference would be for 26+. I would like them to have some adult life jus for themselves to have independent experiences, travel alone, work on a career, live alone, maybe go to graduate school.
Any possibility of marriage before graduating college would result in a frank exchange of ideas

I would definitely encourage them to finish college first, but as long as I felt like they were really in love, grounded, and responsible enough for marriage, I could deal.

Definitely after college and starting their own career and dating several different people and living independently/alone. I think very, very few people hit it out of the ballpark and are mature enough or lucky enough to pick a real life partner before really experiencing life for themselves.

I don't think I can put a number on this. I agree with others that maturity is what is most important. I would hope that my kids would wait to get married until they have good, stable employment and maybe even would have finished college. I would also hope that they haven't entered the marriage hastily but have really sought wisdom out from people who know them well to ensure that the marriage seems to be the best idea for their life at that point in time.

I think 27 would be perfect. But definitely not before 22. I feel like most people still haven't figured out who they are and who they want to be by 22.

I hope she has dated other people, spent time alone, lived with her future spouse, and graduated from college before she decides to get married.
If she were planning to get married before those things had happened, I"d probably be a little concerned, but supportive. I'd let her know why I wanted them to wait a little.

After college. I got married at 23, so I can't really naysay it.

After college and I would prefer after 30. I think you change SO much in your 20's.

As long as it's post college! I see young couples that work out, and I see the benefits of waiting till you're older (like me). So as long as it's a serious relationship and it's truly the right one, I wouldn't oppose to getting married in early 20's.

Obviously, when they're ready but I hope that it's not before 25.

Ideally after college or college age. The other thing I would hope is that they had been together for long enough to really be sure, we went through a lot of life changes and big ups and downs together and knew we could struggle and come out ok on the other side. I think it is important to know how you dynamic as a couple is even when things are going poorly, I have seen way to many people be shocked at how their s.o. handles a crisis (which isn't to say people don't change etc. but it definitely gives you a different insight into a person than when everything is happy and lovely.)

I would hope for 25+/after college, too. I SO wanted to get married in my early 20s to the hubs (we started dating when I was 15), but I'm so glad we waited until I was 25. I don't think I was mature enough from 22-24.

After 25, I've read that after 25 you are more intuned to yourself & who you really are as a person.

Provides she found someone wonderful etc, I vote for 25. Old enough to have had fun single life and young enough that there's no pressure to have kids right away.

I don't think I can put a number on it. I know what the stats say about this, but they look at just one factor, age, when obviously there's a million other things at play there. And while it's generally true that people at 25 or 30 know them self better and have more adult/real world experience, there are certainly many many exceptions to that rule, and I can't see into the future to know what group my child will fall into.

That being said, I would not support a marriage straight out of high school. At that point my child will have been living in my home with their main focus being school for 18 years. They won't have experienced a full-time job, life outside mom and dad's house, earning a living, etc. I think it's really important to have some experiences like that, maturity, and just some time to see how you grow in at least those first few years outside of the realm of high school and your childhood home before you get married.

I'd prefer them to be at least 19. I'd also prefer that they had been dating for at least 2 years.
