My daughter is almost 14m and she is SO SO clingy. Like if I put her down she immediately cries for me. If I go upstairs she immediately comes for me. I can't do anything without her hanging off my leg.
She is not like this with others! I remember my older going through this but I don't remember when it ended. I need to know an end date! It stresses me out.

ugh DD was going through this last month!!! Thankfully for now it seems to have ended. For her it was from 12-13 months. Hopefully it passes soon for you.

We have been going through this off and on for the past 2 months. He seems to be upward trend of getting better at a little over 15 months. I have had a few tearful fits with DH to please take him somewhere so I can just put my make up or go to the bathroom without the grabbing and scraping at my legs!

It got better for awhile but at ~20 months it started up again, worse than ever. She's 22 months now and it doesn't show any signs of stopping...

DS#2 is 22 months old and it's awful. He's my clingiest child. He needs to be touching me or within three feet of me at all times.

This is interesting to me, my son was like this from maybe 9-12 months! Now at 13, I was just thinking the other day that he is way less clingy (I can put him in his playpen and he'll play, I can go to the bathroom without him screaming, etc). Now you have me wondering if it'll start again soon though.

@SweetiePie: yes! 90% of bathroom trips at home have her hanging on my knees or screaming outside the door. Fun times. This stage, I do not miss!

DS2 is 17 months old and just stopped about a month ago. I didn't even realize he had gotten better!

DS2 is 17.5 months and I am still waiting for the clinging to improve. It seems this is a second child problem!

Mine is 27 months and is still like this. I think it is maybe a personality thing? My 6 month old doesn't need me nearly as much.
