I am 23 weeks with #2, and NOTHING has even been started. We don't even have a room cleared for her yet!
Did you create a nursery for #2? Was it an alternate sleeping arrangement than you had with #1?

Haha same story here! I've done nothing. We haven't even decided where she's going to be! We had originally planned on her sharing a room with E but we're rethinking that. She'll either go in our room in a crib for awhile or we need to clear out/decorate the office.

Interested in this as well. We have an empty room, but it has been empty since we moved in. It's high gloss fire engine red, which we did not paint...it's gotta go lol. I probably won't start until after our gender scan so I can pick paint/furniture/accessories to match the gender.

I'm not pregnant with #2 yet and my LO is 20 months. My husband already nesting - he moved our office into our guest room so it's an office/guest room now. Our plan is to move LO into the empty room and make it her big girl room after she turns 2 and then move baby #2 into the existing nursery

We know what room our LO is going into--it's our current guest room/closet room (I store my clothes there). A LOT of clearing needs to get done before we can move a baby in there!

We are using the existing nursery as is. DS never used it and still doesn't so no sense in changing everything. We are just going to update it to add some things specific for our little girl that fit the space.

We are using the extra bedroom that has just a bunch if overflow/ clutter we have for #2. Will wait for after the gender/ anatomy scan and go from there.

I didn't get #1's room ready until past 30 weeks. I'm currently 25 weeks, and it's a struggle to even clean up my craft/office room for #2's nursery.

We didn't do anything. We moved our toddler to a different room and kept the nursery the same for the baby. The baby is going to change rooms eventually so I will decorate for her then!

We didn't do too much, I think we had it cleared out a little, but it wasn't set up. DD was still in the crib when DS was born, so he didn't have a crib or anything else. With Baby#3 coming, I don't even think we'll clean out his or her room until after he or she comes! We need a guest room for awhile and the baby stays with us for the first few months anyways. It is hard to not nest though.....

We have 2 bedrooms downstairs and two more upstairs. I haven't figured out where to put everyone. Ideally after 6mo DC can share a room (they'll be almost 3yrs apart). LO2 will be in our room until then. I don't think I'll make any drastic changes until I have to. The one thing I definitely want to do before birth is transition DD to a twin bed in the fall so she won't associate losing her crib with her sibling.

Our 'junk' room needs cleared out so that can become the guest room and the guest room can become the nursery. It's so painful though because it's all the crap that I have no idea what to do with but I either use occasionally or have plans for (and may never get to but can't throw it out either). UGH. But now that I'm almost 27 weeks and getting closer to the third trimester I'm starting to feel stressed about it and slowly starting to tackle it. But UGH..........

I'll be 27 weeks on Wednesday and we haven't done anything. Baby #2 will go in our spare bedroom. It's basically the junk room. All of the stuff we unpacked but didn't have a place for is in there. It has to get cleaned out pronto! We haven't bought anything yet either. I'm starting to stress a little.

This makes me think of that post that @msjazz: shared that was like "The difference between Baby #1 and Baby #2" and there was that pic of a pristinely decorated nursery for #1, and then a kid sleeping on a mattress in an empty room for #2, and it made me laugh so hard:)

What we need to do is find a new bed for #1. When #2 comes the crib will go in our room. At some point we will move the crib back into #1's room and they will share. At least, that is the plan for now.

My csection is scheduled for Thursday and we JUST cleared out a room for her this past weekend. Only 3 walls are primed...with DS I was due the end of April and his room was done by mod February
