If you could only take an opks at 6 am or around 6pm, when would you? Afternoons are not an option. Which do you think would be the most accurate?

I'd read before that FMU is not best for LH. I always did mine after work around 6-7pm after a 3 hour hold and always caught my surge.

Same as @PurplePumps: I've always heard unlike pregnancy tests, FMU is the opposite of when you want to take them! i would definitely take it 6pm. Good luck!

@PurplePumps: @dc yoga bee: That's what I thought! I asked for a friend. She only had the to options and she thought that, between the two, am was better. I wanted to check with bees first.
@PurplePumps: I am going to reveal myself as a super stalker but I have been silently rooting for you since I joined here two years ago. I am so, so stoked for you! Wishing you the most blessed pregnancy ever.

@simplyfelicity: I started using the Clear blue monitor last month. It never caught my peak using testing in the am. Since we are TTC this month I am going back to the OPKs in the afternoon. It worked when I got pregnant the first time. Guessing I have a short surge which is why the monitor didn't catch it.

@Smurfette: I used that monitor for four months, and then went back to the cheapies! I have a short surge as well, and I think it happens at night, gone by am. Plus, those sticks are expensive!

I always heard to use them in the afternoon/evening but by that point my pee was so diluted I didn't really trust it. The cheapie strips always worked perfectly for me with FMU.
