I haven't went through the girls toys in a good 9 months. They really do play with just about all of it, so it's hard! It's pretty organized at the moment so it doesn't drive me as crazy as I think it would if things didn't have a place. The only thing that kind of drives me nuts is the two rocking horses and two ride on toys that just have to sit in the middle of the playroom. I do really need to go through and try and get rid of at least a couple of things though, before Christmas!

Last weekend when my mom was in town! She's a super organizer (and I am not) so she really helped me get it all done. There were a lot of baby toys (rattles and the like) that they were just throwing instead of playing with, so it was nice to purge those. We put a lot of the other stuff away so I can start more of a toy rotation instead of having everything out all the time!

Sunday! I've never really done a purge and LO's second birthday was Saturday so I went through and donated a bunch, organized it all and rearranged both girls rooms too! It will probably be another year before it happens again lol

Last week. I moved a bunch of toys that DS no longer plays with up to the attic. Saving it for #2. Then I'm having a huge sale when she outgrows them.

I did this for the first time after my daughter's first birthday. We had SO MUCH STUFF. I decided to pack most of them away and rotate her toys every couple of weeks. It's working well for us (she's almost 16 months) and I LOVE having minimal toys to deal with on a daily basis.

Last weekend! We moved all the 'baby' toys up to the attic in time for his birthday. He got a bunch of new toys for that so we split them between the living room and his bedroom to break things up a bit!

About a month ago, I went through all their toys and got rid of stuff. Mostly items that take up a lot of space like the activity cube, push walker, and a lot of little baby toys.

I need to, but with the girls being two years apart, I hate to "get rid" of anything that my littler one could use later. luckily I have a big basement now..just need to get some bins!!

A few weeks ago. We have a rocking horse and it bothers me to no end. The worst part is the best part. We can't get rid of it because it is DH's when he was a little boy.
