We almost never watch tv because we watch Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I haven't watched tv in at least 3 weeks!
When is the last time you watched actual tv?

I caught up on two episodes on my DVR this weekend but other than that I haven't watched anything on the tv or computer since the weekend before that. No time!

We watched the US Open at my BIL's yesterday, but we don't have cable so I watch a lot of Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Instant Videos.

Um... two years ago? We watch Netflix a few times a week. I'd say my total media consumption of videos/tv shows/whatever is <5 hours/week. We are a big reading family. We also like board games, just talking...

The tv is ALWAYS on at our house. I dont watch a lot of it but I cannot stand sitting in a room that has a tv and not have it on.

The tv is always on as background noise, but we did catch up on trueblood and mad men tonight!!

@Lindsay05: my husband is the same way! If I'm reading in the living room without the TV on he always asks "why isn't the TV on?!" as soon as he walks in the room!
I'm actually watching Conan right now. I usually don't watch TV very much these days. I'm always on the computer or reading instead.

We only have basic channels at home, and I watch PBS a few times a week. We watch a majority of our shows and movies on Netflix.

we don't have our tv at home connected (no cable, no free to air anything, no sat, no antenna) but we're currently on holiday at the ILs and their tv is ALWAYS on. it drives me batty.
it doesn't help that they're both deaf as doorknobs so need the sound system turned up to max volume. and all they watch is Fox News, so I'm currently having politics yelled at me from the other end of the house!!!
phew. </vent>

We don't have cable at our house. A basketball was on at MIL 's when we were over there last night but I couldn't even tell you the last time I actually sat down and watched actual TV. We have Netflix and DH and I usually watch a show at night when LO is asleep.

Actual tv in our house? 2006 maybe? We do stream stuff and I watch tv in hotel rooms, but that's it.
Speaking of which, the new true blood season has started! We will stream that soon.

2 months I miss my shows!!!
We're trying to go without TV, to spend more time together. We still watch Netflix a few times a week after the kids go to bed. We'll probably get cable once summer has ended.

Tonight! I watch to much. But LO was asleep and DH was still working

Last night! House Hunters ftw! Or actually, technically I'm watching right now because I work in TV, haha. But I don't count watching at work, it's not exactly relaxing

I watch TV every day! Usually just a 30-minute rerun of 'How I Met Your Mother' while I wait for DH to come home from work.
Every Tuesday we watch 'America's Got Talent', too.

we watch tv everyday, but mostly sports. we are huge tv junkies but could survive on just netflix and hulu, if it weren't for sports. we did watch the voice finale last night!

@looch: wow! That's great. I'm really impressed. What made you go completely screen time free?

Um... December, when I was at home visiting my parents. So nearly 7 months.
We do selectively watch a few shows online.
