Since we just had our LO 5 days ago, our goal date night is for August 31st, when one of the bands we really like is playing at a local venue. I'm hoping to have enough of a freezer stash by then to make it dinner + concert, but we'll see!

Saturday! We are going out for my HS reunion. We haven't had a date night since NYE...it is LONG overdue. I am very excited.

Next Friday is my birthday and DH and I are going to our favourite restaurant for dinner while my mum babysits. SO excited! Will be our first date since DD was born!

Tomorrow night! I feel like I'm so in need of a break. I thought the summer would be glorious as a SAHM, but honestly, the weather has been so hot and humid here that we're actually stuck inside a lot of the time. It's frustrating.

I want to get one going for this weekend since I don't even remember the last one we had and I need one so so badly. I started a fight over nothing this morning though... so I might need to wait a bit to pitch that idea.

LOL, we don't do as many date nights as we should but we DO do days off in that DH will stay home with LO while I spend the day out doing what I want and vice versa. This Saturday, DH is going golfing in the morning and I'm with LO alone. But when he gets back, I'm going out alone and he's doing the afternoon and bedtime!
Maybe we should start doing things together...

Friday night we are having date night once R goes to sleep. Some time in August my Mom is going to come babysit so we can go out for a real date.

We were planning on one next week but MIL threw out her back. So I guess we'll see how she's feeling by the weekend?

Our next date night is August 7th. My bosses are taking us out to dinner and then we'll probably go grab a drink somewhere by ourselves afterward. My good friend is keeping the baby who will be asleep by then anyway.

Like...maybe 2016? Ha. Kidding. Somehow, we have never gotten into babysitters, going out since we had kids (3.5 years ago now!), and it almost seems scarier to deal with that than to actually stay home all the time.
BUT, actually, my ILs are taking both girls in October and we are going to NYC for a long weekend! -
@MamaMoose: Ha, no! It's just my FIL and he would not be comfortable babysitting. No waaaaay.
