Charlie has a mild daddy preference, but when he's hurt... he always calls for his mom! I don't blame him... I also called for my mom when I got hurt as a kid!
Olive is more preference neutral, but she also has a strong mommy preference when she's hurt!

He doesn't "call" for either of us yet but when he falls and surprises himself or hits his head he settles down and nestles his head into me right away.

Usually me but Mr. Train is an adequate substitute if I am not available.

He doesn't call out for me yet, but always runs to me and reaches out for me, even if dad is holding him.

Too young to call for someone still. But the weird thing is that she babbles "dadada" all day long but when she's upset her babble/cry is "mamama." I've heard of this happening to other babies too!

DS doesn't usually call out for anyone but he always finds me. He'll let DH pick him up but always wants to be handed off to me.
