How far along were you when you disclosed your pregnancy to your employer? I'm currently 8 weeks and not really showing yet, so I can wait. But when is the right time? When I start showing? With my last pregnancy my boss was very tactless and randomly asked me if I was pregnant because I had a bunch of doctor's appointments. So I disclosed before I was truly ready.

I think it's a personal choice.
I miscarried my first at 8 weeks and told my boss then. I waited until about 12 weeks with my second pregnancy because of my history of loss.
After she was also stillborn, I told my boss really early with my third pregnancy because I was being seen every other week by two doctors so I needed a flexible schedule. My boss then was very empathetic, so I felt I could open up to her.
I'm under a different supervisor now, and I think I'll wait a while if I'm able. We can usually get permission to work from home, so I'm trying to do that on days when I have appointments. -
I told my employer around 13 or 14 weeks. I wasn't showing yet but I wanted to give them a heads up for planning purposes/doctors appointments.

I told right around 13 weeks. I worked in a school, and we were only a few weeks from the end of the year, so it was good timing in order to be able to plan for the fall.

With my first I waited until 18 weeks because I was waiting for a raise and didn't want the pregnancy to affect that.
With my 2nd I told around 12-14 weeks. -
I told really early because I was so so sick and pretty much looked miserable all the time. I didn't want him to think I hated my job or that I was slacking. He was very happy for me and said he definelty noticed the change and was relieved that it was due to the pregnancy

I've waited until the second tri for all of mine but we waited to tell everyone until then.

I told at 15 weeks, and could have waited longer but had doc appts that I wanted to explain. I prefer keeping work separate from personal, so I didn't really like saying anything. But it had to be done at some point!
so really it's up to you!

After you've told family and close friends, and before you announce publicly/are obviously showing.
Do you still have that same boss? If so, unfortunately it sounds like you're better off telling earlier than later. What a colossal jerk. So I would probably tell as soon as I had the results from the first-tri genetic or NT testing back.

21 weeks. It's no one's business but yours and you don't have to answer if someone asks.

I told at 8 weeks, after my first good ultrasound. I was really miserable at work and it was really hard to hide it in a shared workspace. I was sick of making excuses for my weird eating habits and for being much quieter than usual (bc I felt shitty). Also I had a business trip coming up at 9 weeks and I knew there would be a lot of drinking expected and it would be super noticeable if I didn't.

I work for family so right away. That said their employees typically have shared between 3-4 months except when they've been really sick and vomiting/nauseous, I know at least one girl who told early like even before the first appointment. I think it all comes down to your relationship with them, honestly.

I told my boss around 14 weeks. He was going to be gone for a month and I was going to be gone for 3 weeks and I thought I might look very different by the time we were back in the office together. He was very congratulatory as he already had 4 kids.

6 weeks. I was pretty green, especially the second time.

With my son I waited til around 12. I would do the same with a second. I have a history of loss and would want to see good first tri test results before sharing the news.

I told when I was starting to show but not obviously. I did want to tell them before it was obvious but at the latest point possible. I think I was maybe 15 weeks.

4-5 months both times.. and I was super sick in the first tri both times.
