Have the TV on in the background and someone just blew out some birthday candles. I can't remember the last time I did that... I'm not really into birthday parties! My perfect birthday is sleeping in.

Last birthday. Just one candle on a cupcake. I have to blow out a candle every year. It's important to me. I make sure DH and DD gets a candle every year too.

This past year! All though the candles said "1-3" rather than "2-9" because I hit 13 weeks on my birthday and my husband thought entering the second trimester would be more exciting to me than turning 29 (he was right)

Last Friday! Haha, I do every year though, my family is pretty strict about it. My grandpa is in his 70s and gets his candles out in one short blow every year...I'm really scared of the year this doesn't happen, actually. lol

I am a germaphobe. The very thought of people blowing (and spitting) across the cake makes me ill. So I can't think of the last time I've done it, or eaten cake that someone has blown candles out on.

Last year! We always do a birthday "cake" even when there's no party. I bake something for DH every year. He doesn't have a sweet tooth so it's challenging! A lot of years I'll make a fruit pie and go very easy in the added sugars.

I think I used to only get birthday cakes at work, no candles! I think the last time (documented by photos) was when I turned 24 or 25!
