DS had his 4 month shots yesterday. He woke up around 8:30 crying inconsolably (my son never cries!) and finally fell asleep at 10.
Usually he makes noise in his sleep, but he was super quiet last night. I woke up 10 minutes ago and couldn't see his chest rise and fall on the monitor so I went into his room, touched his leg and nothing. Put my hand on his chest and I could feel his heart beat.
Gahhhhhhhhhhhh

I hate that feeling. I've just started letting him take naps on his stomach because he's so much more comfortable. It makes me so nervous, even though I'm in the same room with him.

@mrbee: I think he was in a deep sleep? Didn't even move when I touched him. I actually went in again to check his heart just to make sure. Haha. 
I had a heart attack when M slept 10 hours straight for the first time too.

DH did it a month ago and woke her up. I was so mad! I can hear her breathing if I'm very quiet, so that's how I check.

I check in person pretty much every night. It makes my husband so mad because about 20% of the time I end up waking her. But I simply can't sleep if I don't know for sure that she's OK.

This morning. I check every night and every morning, at the least, with my 7 mo and I always listen for my 2.5 yo's breathing before I shut his door at night. I know, crazy.

Last night. She's only 3 weeks though, I check multiple times throughout the day/night. Especially if she's really quiet!

@chopsuey119: aww I'm sorry! I did last week when she had pneumonia and for the first time in weeks didn't have hourly wakeups!
