I was really jealous about breastfeeding/pumping during my first month after LO 1 was born. My friend had a c-section the week before me and her milk came in the same day. It took 9 days PP for drops to appear and my supply wasn't really great until 4 weeks. She always mentioned her oversupply and it bummed me out. 
I cried so much about breastfeeding that first month.
I'm sure I have been jealous about other stuff but nothing as big...so far!

When I went back to work at 7 weeks I was jealous at all the moms with longer maternity leave or SAHMs. All the mom groups I was invited to join were weekday morning meetups. PP blues, pumping around work schedule doesn't help the jealousy either.

My milk didn't come in until day five and then we had a couple days of latch issues due to a flat nip. So moms who were BFing right away! I also didn't magically lose weight pp with BFing, it SLOWWWWWWWWWWLY came off over the next 6-9 months.
I'm also jealous of moms who've given birth naturally, not had an episiotomy, and/or swelling issues post-birth.

I am jealous of the super put together moms, with the cute clothes, cute hair, cute bags, cute kids, etc. etc. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I need a hair cut and the sweater i have on today I took back out of the donation pile. Seriously, I need a spa day.

Just now, reading prettylizy's birth story where she got to the hospital 8-9 centimeters dilated and was home 4 hours later with the baby in time for breakfast with her family! Holy crap. lol
Honestly, I really do get jealous of easy births because mine was so difficult. But it's jealous in a happy for them way, so long as they realize they're lucky and don't somehow turn it around to where everyone could be like that if they wanted to be. We all want to be, I did not want to have a c-section but it was necessary for baby's safety!
ETA: I think most of us have some aspect other moms are jealous of though. For me it's sleep - L started sleeping through the night before he was 3 months old, and it's super uncommon for him to have trouble falling asleep or ever wake up at night.

1. A friend of mine tells me all the time how short and easy her labors were and how I really missed out on getting skin to skin due to my cs. As if I asked for the c section!
2. I'm also jealous of moms who are able to breastfeed their babies. Like, really jealous.

So freaking jealous of the mommas who have LOs the same age that are sleeping great. We're getting, on a good night, 2 hour stretches (with 1 hour stretches being more common), so when someone "complains" about their LO getting up 2-3 times a night, I want to diiiiiiie.

I think if anything goes as planned, you need to realize how lucky you are.

On Sunday, when a mom at the children's museum told me her 7-month-old daughter had been sleeping 7-7 since she was 6 weeks old. I almost cried, I was so jealous!

1. Jealous of anyone whose baby is sleeping through the night. Even after sleep training, she wakes 1-2 times per night to eat.
2. Jealous of anyone who is able to take their baby out to restaurants or on vacation. LO has MSPI and a host of other dietary restrictions so as long as I'm nursing and she's still sensitive, we have to make all our own food.

I work with a mom of 5 kids ages 17yr-20 months. She is in shape, cute, and a go getter at work. She is also super real and has no family help. I don't know how she does it and admire her more than I envy her I guess (5 kids not for me). She did give me the name of her therapist, though haha. I'm jealous that she has such a hands on DH though.

I'm also really jealous of the put together moms. My baby weight has not come off AT ALL through 10 months of breastfeeding and I'm going to go back to work and have people ask me when I'm due again.

This super put-together mom I know, who has 2 under 2 but still looks gorgeous and is hosting a play date at her beautiful home while serving a homemade lunch and freshly baked bread.
While I, at 2 years post-partum (LOL can I still say that??) look like a haggard, tired mess that is still 10 LBS heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight. Le Sigh.

last night, just heard of a mom of a 2-year old who ran a half-marathon and hosted dinner at her place in the same day. also she is pregnant. i've made it to a whopping 2 exercise classes since LO was born over a year ago.

I am still sort of jealous of those who can get pregnant easily, but I count my own (amazing) blessings whenever it crosses my mind. I still count myself as very, very lucky.

I got jealous of the other moms who's baby would actually sleep. I spent hours trying to get DD to sleep for just 30 min, only to start the cycle all over again. Even at 2 yrs old, she's the same way.

i was totally jealous of moms who had the weight just fly off them while BFing, and i I was/am eating chicken and broccoli, denying myself cheeseburgers, and sweating my ass off! But I know somewhere out there, some mom is jealous of my drive to actually GO to the gym and make said chicken.
So, the grass is always greener on the other side
Totes jealous if you didn't get stretch marks, though.

I was going to say that I was only really jealous early on when everything was so new and LO cried all the time. I had three friends with 6 month olds and their kids were so happy and seemed so easy! But, I just read Prettylizy's story too and yeah, pretty jealous.

We were playing outside yesterday, and the neighbor kids came out with their aunt, cousin and housekeeperI realized I was dressed exactly like the housekeeper. Ugh.
ETA: to clarify nothing wrong with what the housekeeper was wearing, but I was jealous of the aunt in her super cute outfit.

@smurfette, I know! i've had a lot of people comment to me about it and I always think that they totally could, it's not like their husbands are gone all week long like yours! I wish you had a little daycare at the gym like I do. I never even use it

Sleep is my number one. I don't even know if it's "jealousy" though..that seems like a strong word for what I feel. Also, naturally thin moms! But even that one, I'm not "jealous" because I probably eat 3500 calories a day, so it's not like I don't know why I'm still 10 lbs over pre pregs weight.
