It's been quite a while now! I used to get them now and then because my heels get badly cracked and they are great at fixing them up.
But now I am cutting out all non-essentials, including (*gasp*) coffee! So pedicures are out of the picture... only problem is that my heels are screwed up now. I'll have to find another solution... something that's cheap or better yet, free!

Early December... I went with some girlfriends for brunch and a pedicure, complete with mimosas, to celebrate the end of wedding season. It was a fun morning!

2 days before I had the baby!
DH got me a gift certificate to the place nearby though..they give you a shoulder massage while your nails dry!
I've loaded Vaseline onto my feet in the past and wore socks (to bed) which hurt me to do bc I can't sleep w socks! It worked though!

Sometime in August before a wedding.
Hubby uses a pumice stone while in the shower and moisturizes afterwards. And ped-eggs in between. Seems to help quite a bit and he gets TERRIBLE cracked heels. Like the crevice is so deep and wide, it bleeds. I cringe when I see it.

The last time was in July for my birthday, we are in the "not buying anything unnecessary" club too, so I had to cut pedicures out.

LO was 2 weeks old. He's now 5 months so its been a while, but I'm always more likely to do that sort of thing in the summer. I just don't care that much when DH is the only one that sees my feet Poor DH

Last Saturday! I told DH that I can't give up mani/pedis no matter how crazy things are with a newborn, so that's one of my "mommy's day out" activities when I get out the house and H stays with Daddy:)

My wedding day... haha. I really want to get one now though, since it's becoming impossible to reach my toes and it actually makes an impact on my mood when my toes are pretty.
It's a silly thing, but looking down and seeing sparkly purple toes makes me smile.

I got one on NYE I was a week from my due date and secretly hoping it may trigger labor. no such luck!

@mrbee: DH has super cracked heels and the only thing that has worked is one of those as-seen-on-TV products for heel cracks...I believe we got it at Bed Bath Beyond. It comes in a rollup tube like deodorant and you just smear it on your heels--kind of an herbal smell, not yummy but not girly either.

I can't remember my last pedicure...possibly for our wedding 1.5 yrs ago? Yikes! My feet stay pretty smooth and I think I do a better job of painting my toenails than they do at the nail salon, so I prefer to save my money for other things.

A year ago. I think that was my second ever. I can scrub and lotion my own feet though! They feel great but make me feel really awkward, like I have a servant or something.
