I haven't lived at home with my parents since I left for college at 18. A lot of my friends moved back with their parents after college and saved all kinds of money...sometimes I wish I did the same!

I lived with them the first couple of summers of college. So, I guess 19 was the last time.

I moved out when I was 23 with my boyfriend (and now DH!) but I stayed at home until then. This helped TREMENDOUSLY through college and my early career. I still think I should've stayed home longer haha, DH doesn't appreciate that sentiment =P
I do wish I had taken advantage of the situation a little more, saving more money, etc. Ahh, those were the days!

I lived at home during the summer months of college, but once I graduated, I moved out permanently. Some of my friends still live at home with their parents even though they're married. Hubby and I fantasize about all the money we'd be saving if we still lived at home!

I wish I could move back now, hahaha
I moved out at 17 because I wanted to live with my grandfather after my grandmother passed away. They also lived in the town where I went to high school (not the same town as my parents).

Summer breaks during college, so summer of 2000. Sometimes I wish I lived at home right after college and saved up money.

I left for college when I was 18 but moved back the next year and stayed a year. Then I met DH and we moved in together. We've been living together since!

Until the day before I married DH! I moved out for 6 months during college, and then moved back home. I didn't like having to take care of myself. hahahaha
So I lived with them and saved money and paid for school until I married DH....so until I was 23

I graduated in May and didn't move to NY and start my job until July so I lived with them for those few months. I was 21 at the time.

I lived at home for one year after my undergrad, but after that I've been on my own!

I moved out at 16 to attend college an hour away and live in the dorms.

I lived with my parents a couple months after I graduated college, before I started my new job. So I was 22 when I moved out for good (6 years ago).

I lived at home after college from ages 22 - 25 and then moved into an apartment with a friend for a year and a half.
Then after I got engaged, to save money I moved into a townhouse that my parents owned for about 2.5 years, and didn't have to pay rent... That was glorious!!!

At first i was going to say i left home at about 17 for college, but then i went to a boarding school and only came home for holidays since i was about 10 or 11 even up till i was 20, i still went home for the holidays....so i'm kinda confused as to which is really the "official age" i stopped living at home.

I moved out when I was 19. Twice I stayed with them for a couple weeks (I think 3 weeks was the longer duration of the two) while in between apartments, but that was not a permanent situation.
I'm not sure I could handle living with them as an adult. So I suppose, kudos to anyone who can! LOL

I lived at home the summer after my Freshman year of college. Honestly, my parents live in the middle of BFE, so moving back home would've meant going back to work at the mine or the truck stop. Not something I was willing to do to save a little money.

I moved out when I was 20. I went to college in my home city, so I never had to live in the dorms or anything. By the time I was 20, though, I had just started dating my bf (now husband) and was ready to have my own apartment with him. My brother, who lived and still lives at home with my parents, has a bunch of drug issues, too, so I was at the point where I just had to get out to avoid the drama!!
Sometimes I wish I would have stayed because I would have saved myself thousands of dollars in rent, but my sanity was worth more.
Edit - so, it's been over 4 years. I'm 24.

Im a little embarrassed to say.. but oh well. This is us.
We actually live with recently divorced father in law in a three bedroom right now. My father in law, DH, 6month old DD, and myself. We have been saving and paying bills (debt) like crazy! However ... we are now in a bit of a OH and pregnant.. yep. We will be second time parents when DD is around 14 months old. We will also be buying our first home. This home happens to be by childhood home (my parents currently rent it out and we will be taking over the deed.) HOWEVER this home has a studio attached with its own entrance and all - that my parents will be staying in! My parents are NEVER really home since they are reeeeeaaally involved in their church community. However it will be a great help with having two tiny little ones and both DH and I working full time. My mom will be taking care of them (when we are back to work.) She is also a mean cook - so something else I probably wont have to worry about much.
It may be kind of lame - but I just don't know how else we would do it. I am already battling daily anxiety and somewhat depression.

@JustlikeHeaven - there's NOTHING to be embarrassed about!! And hopefully having your parents there to help with the two LO's will turn out to be a huge blessing like it has for us. It takes a village.

I moved back after grad school. I was 25, and I did save a good amount of money. I was there when I met DH, and I ended up moving in with him after that.

I moved out the first time at 15, and moved to the other side of the world for an internship (I homeschooled myself in the evenings). After the internship I was living at home on and off until I got my own apartment at 18.
Then DH and I lived with them for a couple months while we were apartment hunting, last summer.

I moved back to my mom's when I got divorced to recoup my losses and stay afloat. The plan was to find a smaller apartment soon after but instead I decided to leave for Asia and start anew. So back "home" was my last place of residence in the States. I left in early 2008.

I lived with them for about 6 months after returning from the Peace Corps and before starting grad school. I was 26. It was a huge help as I was quite poor and had a job 15 minutes from their home.

I moved home last year while DH was in Afghanistan. I didn't know many people at our duty station and found out I was pregnant 2 weeks before he left. I lived with my parents for a short period of time but spent most of the year living with my grandparents. It was really great to have them there for my pregnancy and postpartum. My grandparents were so much help when it came to my LO!

@JustlikeHeaven: Seriously nothing to be embarrassed about! I actually have a friend who has two little ones and a husband and they all live with her parents. It works for them. They own a house that they rent out.
