It just happened! Our daughter woke up crying and only wanted her mom. Bee had just fallen asleep, but eventually the sobbing got so loud that she woke up.
It's been a while since the last rejection! Had a decent run there... maybe we will trade kids again for a while (we each do one kid's bedtime right now).

Today. She wanted daddy to take her to school. But her allegiance changes all the time throughout the day depending on what she wants to do! She later flip flopped and said she wanted mommy to give her a bath.

Never. Poor DH. It hurts his feelings sometimes. She gets so excited to see him but if he tries to pick her up she gets really upset

She always prefers Mommy, DH has it so easy. For a few weeks she was pro Daddy, but it switched back with a vengeance.

This morning. Woke up saying Dada. I went in her room, since I was up and wanted to see her before I left, and she laid back down when she saw me and said Dada. Stinker! Brought her to Dada and they were laying in bed cuddled up, and gave me a kiss bye. I was talking to DH and she says bye bye and waves to me. Like go away, this is my Daddy time.

last night. LO picked up a book to read so i took it, and he grabbed it out of my hands and took it to my husband so that hubs could read it to LO.

Never. But I sah and we are still breastfeeding so I think that's why. She rarely protests if Dh takes her though (unless she wants to nurse!).
@Mrs. Deer: I'm excited for the daddy preference too. But I'm sure I'll end up going into another room and crying for a minute when it happens.

Never; unless she is really scared, then she’s all about dada. Apparently I’m good for snuggles and kisses, but when she thinks we’re in "danger" (like when we ride elevators or see really big dogs) she needs the real protector, dada, and I get thrown to the curb to fend for myself!

Last night, all the time. LO throws a massive tantrum when tired about me reading to him. Part of it is boundary pushing, the other part of it is preference. I read some of "Happiest Toddler on the Block" last night before falling asleep to remedy the situation. It's going to be my reading for the next couple of days to head off these situations.

Never...and she is 3.5 so I am anxiously awaiting the day that it happens. I feel sorry for DH all the time.
