I have morning sickness. The first 4 days, it was bad enough to be of concern (was starting to get dehydrated), but I figured out a few things, and it's been manageable ever since. I'm now down to vomiting once every 3-5 days at 15 1/2 weeks. I don't get dehydrated, I'm right on track with pregnancy weight gain, my lab work is completely normal, though I do need to switch to a prenatal with iron (and that wasn't even a "right away" - it was "when you're feeling better.")
I am 110% not concerned. My doctor isn't either, but she always offers nausea meds for morning sickness, just in case (I refused). My husband, however, is convinced that this is completely out of kilter with what I should be going through (his mom only had MS with one of his siblings, and the one he was too young to remember.)
I'm not asking for advice - just asking at what point you personally would take nausea meds. As soon as MS reared it's head? If and only if you were losing weight/getting dehydrated? After the first trimester? Something else?
