I ususally take a quick look in the bag to make sure its the right order

I always check. I would be so pissed if I got home and it was wrong!

I do the same as @highwire. Usually it's my drink that gets screwed up, so I try that as soon as I get it.

I normally don't check if I am just in the car by myself, but if I go through the drive thru and I am with DH one of us always checks

I usually don't, because I get a basic order and I would probably eat it if it was the wrong stuff anyway.

Hubs always gets special orders (only cheese and ketchup on his burgers, etc.) so we usually check his.

I take a quick peek to make sure the items match what I ordered but don't usually go as far as checking to see that the condiments are correct (although I should because I'm somewhat picky-absolutely HATE mustard).

No but my husband does and he will actually stop the car until I check the bag to make sure the contents are correct!! Good thing, too because more often than not when I'm with him, they get our order wrong.

I usually try to. I don't eat meat and I've gotten meat instead of veggie option in my bag several times. That means if we've driven away I'm still hungry and we'll have to stop again.

I always check if I'm not the one driving. If I'm by myself sometimes I take a quick peek, sometimes I don't.

I always pull up so they can help the next person and then check. I'm admittedly very picky (burgers always plain. Won't eat it otherwise) and will have them fix it if it's messed up. Getting all the way home and then realizing would just plain tick me off.

Usually check, at least for the right number of items (I'm not picky when I'm not going through morning sickness, though at the moment, I will drive across town for the "right" burger.) Though as often as not, we actually park, order our food, and eat there - whether or not its exclusively a drive-thru (like Sonic or Checkers.)

@belleoftheballe: The food is completely lackluster, but the drinks are nice. And I can't get creamslushes anywhere else. There's one within walking distance of our house, or we wouldn't go there much.

I almost never check, but Wagon Sr. is VIGILANT about this due to the few times he's arrived at home missing a part of our order. He gets so angry and goes back to the drive thru and they usually give us stuff for free. Haha.

This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see that Dunkin Donuts actually spread the cream cheese onto my bagel...!! usually they just drop the cream cheese and a knife into the bag. Yay.

I do a quick glance over to make sure the contents look complete, but don't check individual items. I hate getting home and realizing it's wrong though.
