Our #1 girl name choice is "Norah" for many reasons, but I'm seeing it a ton recently as a nickname for Eleanor spelled "Nora".
Do you first think of Nora(h) as it's own standalone name or do you think of it as mostly a nickname for a longer name.
In your mind, is it more like Jenny/Jennifer (Jennys are almost always nicknames for Jennifer) or Amy/Amelia (Amy could be a nickname for Amelia, but tons of people are just named Amy).
Three separate friends I've talked to about the name assumed it was always used as a nickname. I *know* that Nora(h) is used a ton as a standalone name (the SS index says so), but because both Nora(h) and Eleanor are getting so popular I wondered what the Hellobee community thought.
it!
