Olive had an appointment today so she still hasn't taken her second nap. Do you try to get your LO down for a short nap, or push them a little longer for an early bedtime?

I always strive for a nap!! Thankfully if he is overtired he'll often fall asleep in the car... but I know you guys don't have that luxury!

For my DS I would push for an early bedtime, since he is working on just getting to have just 1 nap anyway.

push for the nap. but my little one is only 7 weeks so she goes to sleep pretty easily!

I try for a nap so he does t get overtired and then if he won't nap I just have to press on unfortunately!

We're so off today! We're still pushing for the second nap. She'll be a wreck later if she doesn't get it!

We gave up on the second nap today, if it happens after 5 pm, he will scream for way too long in the middle of the night. I got home too late to do the emergency nurse down for a nap. I shoot for the earlier bedtime since he doesn't go down till 8:30 anyway.
