....does he/she wake up screaming??? My LO wakes up so suddenly like he doesn't remember where he is and flips out! He'll cry really hard for a minute and then whimper until I get him. Sometimes I wonder if he's still tired and didn't sleep long enough?

How old is your LO? DD is 6.5 months and used to always wake up crying, now in the last 3 or 4 weeks she has transitioned to cooing, it's a much nicer way to wake up.

He is 3.5 months old, so I guess it's normal? I just feel bad for him because it's always so sudden when he gets up from naps. In the morning, it's not as bad.

She used to cry a lot more when she was younger. She's 7 months now and most of the time will wake up cooing/chatting, but sometimes will still have a screaming fit. It's really a coin toss.

She only wakes up screaming is she poops.... because then she def didn't sleep long enough because she woke herself up with the poop.

Mine used to wake up happy and talking. Now he is always crying, clingy, and upset. And it doesn't matter if it was a short or long nap, it happens every time.
