If your parents don't live nearby...do they stay with you when they visit? Or do they get a hotel room?

Yup they stay with us, and sleep in our bed too haha. Well, we are not in the bed... that would be weird.

My parents always stay in a hotel. DH's parents stay with us... usually in our bed, and we go sleep in the guest room.

They stay with us. We have a guest room and full bath downstairs while the rest of our bedrooms, baths and laundry are upstairs. It works out really well.

My parents and in laws live close by. But if they didn't, they would totally stay with us. They visit my sister in NY in her tiny apt and have the whole family staying there.

They stay with us. I actually have a box that's just my mom's stuff she didn't want to take on a plane every time she visits. If we ever end up with not enough bedrooms, we'll get a hide-a-bed.

They get hotel rooms; we only have three rooms and now we have two kids, so they'd have to stay on the couch if they stayed at our house.

My parents live nearby, so they don't ever need to stay over. My in-laws always stay with us. In fact, they were here just last weekend, as was my brother-in-law, and three of DH's cousins! Full house indeed.

They stay with us. We purposely bought a house that has an extra room(s) to accommodate for guests!

They've stayed with us because we have a guest room. However, my parents cannot sleep in the same bed (especially not a queen size one like we have) so my mom usually sleeps on the couch. My in-laws stay together in our guest room though.
