I haaaaaaaaaaaaate it when DH is sick because he acts like he's the first person on the planet who has ever been ill. I get so annoyed and impatient with him because he is a big. giant. baby!
Makes me want to strangle him.

DH gets pissed off when he's sick. Not whiney, but like the world has committed some terrible crime by infecting him. I'm afraid to go near him if I'm sick 'cause I don't wanna be responsible for making him sick!

Yes, but I try not to show it. He literally cannot do anything because of ketones. It's very boring, plus I have to buy chicken broth every time to get his electrolytes keep his glucose stable. I hate chicken broth; it smells awful.

Haha no. DH doesn't act sick even if he is. He's not a complainer. I complain enough for the both of us

the biggest baby ever. but he takes care of me whether i'm sick or not so i just use him being sick as an opportunity to "pay him back."

Not only is mine a baby but he gets super crabby and rude because he wants me to be able to read his mind when taking care of him. Drives me bananas!!

@rsp213: Uhhhh yup, I'm going through this right now. He's been sick since Sunday and now we are BOTH miserable because of it.

Yup. I told him one day to stop complaining or he'd have a bigger vagina than me.

Ugh the theatrics mine pulls while lying dramatically on the couch and moaning ... It's pretty ridiculous.

Yessss! DH literally moans and groans. It's really quite pathetic.....he moves from couch to bed to tub (for a warm bath)...and leaves towels everywhere. Sigh. When I'm sick, I just want to be left alone.

I got really lucky in that department. DH is the type to push through almost any illness that hits him. You know he's really hurting if he's in bed or on the couch for more then an evening, and in the 5 years together, I've seen that happen twice.

DH turns into the biggest baby. He needs help with EVERYTHING. And he must sleep for the entire time. Sigh.

Ah ha! How did you know? I've been dragging myself to work all week, because the sleeping has gone downhill at 35 weeks preggo but I have no more sick/vaca days left. DH comes down this morning and says "I have a sniffle, so I'm going to stay home this morning". Grrrrrrrr.

Mine soldiers on, you wouldn't even know he felt ill most of the time. Its how his arthritis went undiagnosed for so many years and he was virtually crippled before I forced him to get help. I'm a massive baby though, I moan enough for the both of us.
