Something in between. If it's really bad, I am his nurse 24/7. Dh got super sick at the tail end of our cruise back in 2008. I had to nurse him back to health and didn't mind one bit.

Thankfully he hasn't been seriously sick like that since... for the occasional cold, I'll get his meds, OJ, soup ready; but he usually trudges on well (now).

@MamaMoose: THIS! Lol, we've got a rule that if he's not going to try anything to make himself feel better, then he's not allowed to whine at me

When hubs is sick, he becomes a big, giant baby and it's annoying (only annoying if it's just a cold or something minor)...I ignore him and then he becomes even MORE annoying! LOL! When I'm sick, I just want to be left alone in a dark room. But my hubs WANTS to take care of me so he keeps coming in every 5 minutes asking me if I'm okay, if I need anything, etc. and THAT'S annoying! OMG, my husband annoys me all the time! LOL. Luckily, neither one of us gets sick often.

I'm annoyed too when he's sick because he always makes it seem like he's always sicker than me. Which clearly unless you have fever to prove it... it isn't the case.

I do make him soup and a sandwich. As he does for me. but that's about it.

I make him hot cocoa, screwdrivers (his go-to remedy), soup, grilled cheese, etc. I also give him foot rubs and run him baths... Huh. I guess I do pamper him when he's sick. But he returns the favor.

I baby him. I try to make him take it easy too, but he hates to sit around, even when he is sick.

I usually baby him unless he gets completely out of control and then I will tell him to man up! haha

Somewhere in between. I don't really get pampered when I'm sick, so I don't pamper him when he's sick. Basically, we'll both get each other meds, liquids, foods, etc. But other than that, you're on your own.
And if he's sick, I make him sleep in the other room so he doesn't get me sick or keep me up with his snoring!

I pretty much baby him on a regular basis anyway so nothing really changes when he is sick. I just won't let him do the dishes, which he does every night after we eat. And he doesn't get sick often at all and when he does he 'mans up' pretty quick, so it's never been more than a one or two day event.

I'm an in between. My husband is NOT a big baby when he gets sick. He deals with it pretty well, actually. So, when he is sick or hurting, I try my best to go out of my way to do more for him than I normally would. I'll buy him his favorite "sick" drinks - Gatorade and make sure we have his favorite meds in house (liquid Nyquil). I'll even go out and get him something to eat if he wants it. Normally he doesn't ask me to do anything, though. I love that about him knowing what a baby I am when I get sick!!
