DH and I are going away this weekend for our anniversary and leaving M with my parents for the first time!

My friend is trying to convince me to go to Tahoe but not sure the kids are ready to ski yet so not sure what else we could do there.

No clue, but DH just informed me he requested off the 10th and 11th of next month so we'll have a long weekend for our anniversary, and mentioned maybe heading up to Lake Placid, about where we honeymooned, or possibly Rochester.
ETA: Our next for-sure planned is to DH's aunt's cabin for Thanksgiving.

DH and I have said that as soon as I get a job we are planning a weekend family trip. We were thinking DC or somewhere upstate NY.

I'm going to NYC in December (by myself) to visit my cousin and I'm SO EXCITED!! I've only been one other time and it was the summer - I can't wait to see it all decorated for the holidays!

@locavore_mama: Ha! I don't know. I've never been to Saratoga Springs, which I hear is nice. I also thought it would be cool to go to the Adirondacks and visit my college town. DH would love to go see the Falls again. So many options.

We are going to the Isle of Wight in October. It will be LOs first trip away so Im super nervous but really looking forward to getting some sea air!

@mrsjazz: I'm from the Saratoga area :). You could do that and see some places in the Adirondacks if you wanted to. We got married in Saratoga at a hotel called the Gideon Putnam, which was really nice - it's in the middle of the Saratoga Spa State Park.
We're not going anywhere until Christmas, since baby boy's due in November. In December we'll go to upstate NY. Then in March we're going to FL.

I'll be going to NC for Thanksgiving and I can't wait! Would love to go for a NH overnight some weekend in October, but we'll see:)
