My mom and I go to the same place for breakfast every Friday- a Greek restaurant. And DH and I go to a local cafe for breakfast or dinner at least weekly, so we're known around both of those places.
DH's parents tend to go to the same places alot, and they're well known at the Thai place and a restaurant called the Old School House, which really was converted from an old school house from back in the day. We always get free coconut ice cream at the Thai place

My local Starbucks. Before baby, I went there every morning on my way to work and they would see me drive up and by the time I got inside, my drink would already be ready.

Tokyo Noodle House only because the lady is really nice and observant. And my husband is at Safeway, only b/c he causes quite a ruckus with checking the charges on the bill to make sure it matchs his online discounts etc. 
My LO give super-smiles so the workers quickly forgive him and help out.

there's a pizza place down the street that's fantastic. before they moved there a few years ago, DH worked for them. so they know us pretty well - when they see our number they ask if we're getting the "usual"!

I'm a regular at a sushi/Japanese restaurant near work. A bunch of us go usually once a week and they recognize us now.
DH and I are regulars at a couple of restaurants in town, and chat with the waitress's and/or chef when we are there.

When I was working at the elementary school I frequented my local coffee shop every MWF friday before work. They knew my drink but coffee is too expensive now that I don't work

A Mexican place down the street from us. We go there once a week, usually when we can't figure out what we want for dinner.
Also starbucks is near our house and they know my "pregnant" drink (an extra hot grande sugar-free vanilla, single shot, whole milk latte) and my non-pregnant drink (grande skinny vanilla) without me reminding them.

A sushi place near us is 20% off in the middle of the week, so we've made a tradition of going there.
It's just a little mom 'n pop place, but it's very charming. They have THE BEST waiter I've ever encountered, who always asks me if I want my favorite flavor of mochi at the end of dinner.

We're don't have anywhere around here where we're regulars. Back home, we're well known at a little Korean restaurant and a also at a Vietnamese restaurant that we used to eat at all of the time.
