I've decided I have Pottery Barn taste on a Bob's Discount Furniture budget. Haha.

Crate & Barrel.
ETA: Are you or your SO mechanically inclined? Ana White has a bunch of Pottery Barn inspired furniture that you can make yourself for really cheap.

Well so far I've bought two from crate & barrel and one from wayfair (a-american brand that our local store sold) and ALL THREE have been cracked and I'm freaking tired of tables.

It was inherited from the MIL- Yuck. She decorate DH's house before we got married and I am SLOWLY getting rid and changing everything she did. I didn't even know they made wallpaper that ugly still!

We haven't invested in any "permanent," "nice" furniture yet, so we're going strong with our cheap but sturdy Ikea table!

World Market. It will work fine until kids are old enough for a nicer table.

Raymour & Flanningan. Most of what they have is not our style but I researched for a long time and managed to dig out some nice things there!

Ours is from Crate and Barrel and I love it, but it's not holding up as well as I would have liked We have a matching hutch which is my favorite piece of furniture in our whole house!

We bought a West Elm table for our eat in kitchen. It scratches easily which is the only sad part.
Our formal dining table is from a local furniture store but it is sold in a lot of places. We got the Orione by Chairtech. http://www.chairtech.ca/product-category/dining/ It was just delivered last week and we haven't even had a meal at it yet!

Ikea, shockingly. It happens to be the best quality Ikea product I've ever purchased!

We custom ordered it to fit in our weird little space and it's LOVELY.

IKEA! Our kitchen space for a table is not very big so I wanted something that we could maneuver around easily.

We have IKEA's BJÖRKUDDEN (although I'm pretty sure it had a different name when I bought it...over a decade ago!). Anyhow, it's very plain, but inexpensive and durable. It has survived 10+ years of daily traffic, about as many moves, and one toddler. I have no plans to get rid of it anytime soon, but I might give it a new coat of poly eventually. I am not a big IKEA fan, but this table is not MDF junk (just cheap birch ).
