@swedishfish: I think we are just going to do colors (greys, yellow, and pops of other bright colors) and and keep it simple and modern. How about you?

We worked with an Etsy artist who helped us design something perfect! I saw a design she had and we customized it to make it just right for what we wanted. While it wound up costing about the same amount as it would have been for printed invited (through Tiny Prints, etc.), I liked that I could print on my own paper choice, find the right envelope, etc. (I love stationery!)

My friend made ours for us! She has an etsy shop. I would pass on but she is being induced Monday and not sure how long she will have it closed.

@rahlyrah: I made them using Publisher and got them printed on cardstock. I also wanted a "clean" look & the "theme" was colors so I created a dot design. It was surprisingly simple.

@rahlyrah: Super cute!! We ordered ours in Jan, so almost too months. Cause I wanted them I case my friend went into labor early. I wish I waited cause now R hasn't moved up rooms yet so the party is going to be during her current nap time.

We did Paperless Post. They also have an option to order paper invites if you don't want to do on-line ones. We did a combo of paper and on-line.

I contacted someone on Etsy because I liked some of their designs and asked them to custom make something more in line with what I was thinking.
