This year or last year? 
I think we might be heading to a local farm to table/charcuterie restaurant about 30 minutes away. Making it a last date night 
before LO2 arrives!
Asking ILs to watch LO1 so we can go to a early dinner. It'll be harder to ask someone to watch a toddler and infant.

Sadly, I don't remember where we went last year. We might get out of town for the weekend this year, for our hopefully last child-free anniversary.

Our anniversary was just this weekend (6 years!) and we went to a local restaurant with a beautiful patio and then took a walk along the lake. It was lovely!
Farm to table sounds great and I love charcuterie, it would pain me to go while pregnant. Personally, I would just eat it anyway but apparently my husband is the pregnant lady food police.

Our 4 year anniversary is Thursday and we are combining our anniversary dinner w/my bday dinner and heading to Del Frisco's!

@Cole: Why no charcuterie? A lot of it is cured so sure the salt content is quite high. It's a very reputable place as is the chef so I definitely trust the quality.

Our 5 year is this week...I don't think we did anything last year but the year before went out for really good sushi. I've been pregnant the past two summers so have kept it low-key.

We usually get take out from Outback or something. Or, get steaks and grill them ourselves. My birthday is a couple weeks later, so we save our going out budget for the month for us all to go out for my birthday.

We didn't go anywhere last year since I was 2 months postpartum. No idea if we are this year, and if we do, where!
The year before that, we went to Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck. It's a the top of this one place with a revolving floor so you can see all of downtown and neighboring cities.

@BakerBee: haha I'm trying to remember too! Pretty sure year 2 we cooked at home because LO was only about 4 months! Don' remember where we went last year for year 3. I think home too because we had no sitter.

Last year we spent the night at The Mount Washington Hotel, in Bretton Woods, NH with LO, and we had dinner at one of the on-site restaurants. Our anniversary is 8/12 but we will be celebrating by going the same hotel (toddler free!) for the whole weekend so we probably won't do much on the actual day.

This year will be our 4 year, we'll likely be dining in since we're heading on our family vaca a cpl days later and my mom (our babysitter) will be in Korea! We'll probably get some steaks and sea bass and grill up some veggies NOMNOM

Last year we went to a steak house! Then we came home and watched the FSU game. It was glorious sleeping at home with no monitor on the nightstand.

Last year we splurged at Spiaggia in Chicago. It was delicious. I've never been to a farm to table place ... it sounds lovely!

We celebrated 5 years on Friday! We had omakase sushi at a restaurant in NYC. Seriously amazing!!

This past year we went to Flipside (really awesome gourmet burger place, my fav) and then got the great wall of chocolate cake from PF Changs to take home and eat in our jammies. Last year I think we went to Melting Pot (or maybe that was the year before?).

Ours is today! We were going to go to. Fancier Italian place in town, but we are brining DS so that might not be bright. Haha. We will probably go to our fave local place! Lots of grilled food. Yum!

Last year (our 3rd) we went to an Ethiopian restaurant. This year, I'll be in Cuba and DH will be here. He very graciously said he didn't mind if I wasn't here for our anniversary day. Our date is 10/10, and I'll get back here on 10/18 I think, so I guess we'll do something when I get back. All the "local" restaurants around here are pretty lame. So it'll probably be a sushi restaurant at one of the hotels, or something like that.
ETA: We'll be in Mexico at the end of September, and when we were booking the resort, they asked if we were celebrating anything. Since it was so close, I said our 4th anniversary So, I guess that counts too!

We did a local favorite for ours this year. I really wanted sushi and we had reservations but I had just gotten my bfp for number two.
I'd make your hubby take you for charcuterie as an post baby treat. Go somewhere where you can enjoy everything this year!

@oliviaoblivia: charcuterie is a small part of their restaurant! It's like a few appetizer plates. But they cure their own meat and use local pigs so it's one of their big sellers. So it's not a big deal if I don't eat it.
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for almost two years! LOL

Last year we spent the night at the Ritz-Carlton and ate at BLT Steak. Our anniversary is this Wed and we're going to a nice restaurant on the water that we've been wanting to try for a while.

Last year we went to a local top notch steakhouse. It's our go-to for special occassions. If we do anything this year (baby #2 is due 6 days later, it will likely be a steakhouse again.

This year we just went to a baseball game and enjoyed a kid free weekend. Last year we went to Ruth Chris, love that place!!
