Last year, we got takeout sushi for our anniversary. The day before our 4th anniversary was a friend's wedding. I have no idea what we're doing for our 5th this year.

Last time we were able to go out for our anniversary, I ended up going into labor with my DS right after dinner while we were still out (we had Italian). Last year, our babysitting (my parents) got sick and they never offered to reschedule

We had our reception at a Maggiano's, so we tend to go back there for our anniversary.

This year we went to a local Korean place- but LO came with us. Last year we went to Moxies I think.

I don't remember where we went year 2 and 3. We went to a beach side seafood restaurant with great views, but the food and service was lacking for year 2 or 3. This year if I get to pick the restaurant I want to go here http://www.capsplace.com/ which a friend recommended. You have to take a ferry to get to it.

This year we ate publix subs at home with our little 5 day old babe. Next year we will hopefully get to go out!

This year, we're planning on sushi and a movie. Last year, we went back to where we were married (a beautiful French restaurant) for a delicious meal.

We celebrate our wedding and dating anniversary. For our dating anniversary our tradition is to go down to the fish markets on the beach where they have all the fresh live seafood and have a seafood feast. We usually get lobster or crab, oysters and ceviche.
For our last wedding anniversary we went to a Greek restaurant as an homage to our Greek honeymoon. Our wedding anniversary is coming up in a few weeks. Not sure where DH is planning on taking me. -
Last year we didn't do anything special, but I have birth 4 days after!

Last year was our 5 year so we planned a getaway for 3 days and stayed at the Cave B Inn which is out in the middle of nowhere but they have a winery/hotel/spa/outdoor concert venue. The food was amazing

This year we had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on our anniversary, and he was in pain and drowsy, so we went to the first place we found on our way home. Caraba's.

@sandy: next year is our 5th and I really hope we can do a overnight trip. But I don't think my ILs can handle a 3 year old + a almost 1 year old! Maybe we'll drive down to NYC for the weekend and ask my mom to watch them! hehe

Our anniversary is today! We went to Buddakan in Atlantic City over the weekend for our night out!

@Smurfette: Omgosh! They really are. And since I avoided deli meat while pregant it was even tastier than normal. We just moved and the publix near our new house makes the yummiest ones I have ever had.

@ellewoods84: I had Jimmy John's the night I delivered. I ate deli meat while pregnant but only heated, so a cold JJ was SO good.

We just celebrated our 5th and went to our favorite steakhouse. It was delicious! We brought LO with us and she cooperated for the most part by eating her dinner and behaving well enough so that we could also eat

We are just going to a local restaurant we love a couple of blocks away from our apartment. We are having our first kid-free weekend, LO is spending the weekend at my mom's house. We're both kind of nervous about it!
