I'm just about willing to try anything to get A (5 weeks) to take at least one nap somewhere other than on me or DH. I'm curious -- where did your LO take naps around 4-8 weeks?

There should be multiple options. He would either sleep in his carseat (but we never specifically "went for a drive" to get him to sleep) the swing, or our arms.

Held in a completely vertical position...bad reflux and food allergies prevented laying him down
You probably already tried this but, if there isn't any health issues like reflux, a very tight swaddle may help your LO feel secure like in your arms. I've heard people have great luck with a rock n play (I think that's what it's called) or the swing. Good luck!

She would fall asleep wherever...bouncer, couch, boppy, nursing, our bed, stroller...anywhere but the crib! Haha.

I selected anywhere, LO slept in our arms, on the couch (supervised of course), on our bed, in the pack n play, in the carseat, and Boppy.

Usually he's in my arms, but I am just now starting to be about to get him into his crib for one nap a day. He has to be OUT, though, so I can transfer him in. But he definitely naps best on me.

LO is 9 weeks and doesn't nap on me anymore. This actually makes me sad. I miss it! But it did make it hard to get things done.
She napped in her rock'n'play, in her swing, on the couch, in her carseat (no drives to make her sleep, but no rush to get her out either!), on the church pew, and a few times in her crib.

We put DS in the crib for naps and bedtime from the time we came home from the hospital at 4 days old. He has done really well with it but I know it doesn't work for everyone.

In the car, in the moby wrap, on me (mostly) after nursing. Right next to me on the couch. I wish I'd learned to nurse laying down from the start, though, so I could have gotten up when she was done.
