DS1 slept in an Arm's Reach cosleeper for the first couple of months. He did very well in it and transitioned to his crib easily.
I was planning on doing the same with DS2, but our cosleeper broke! Now I'm trying to decide if/what to get for the new baby. We have a pack n play with a newborn napper that we could use. Any recommendations?

DD slept in a Rock N Play for 3.5 months. She wouldn't sleep on a flat surface. I tried to put her in a mini crib next to my bed for the first few weeks and it didn't go well. I'll try again for the next baby though because it wasn't a quick transition from sleeping angled to sleeping flat.

Another vote for the rock n play - although we didn't have a rough transition, thank goodness!

In our bed until 4.5 or 5 months when we switched her to a crib in her own room.

Rock n Play beside my bed until 7.5 weeks and then we moved her to her crib in the nursery. The entire 4th week she slept on my chest with me propped up in the bed with pillows. That's the only way either of us were going to survive that week of her life!

We had DD in her crib from the moment she came home. For the first two weeks, we lived in a one bedroom apartment, so the crib was in our room. Then we moved into our new place and she was in her own room in her crib at 2 weeks.

Rock n play until about 3.5-4 months. Then a pack n play in our room until 4.5 months into a crib in his own room.

I voted in my arms/in my bed, and she is still in our bed, 15 mo later 
She was also in her rnp, pnp and crib for various stretches before we just decided to bedshare full time.

LO started in rock n play, and eventually moved to our bed - because I am EBF it is just easier for nighttime feedings. Now she is almost 4 months and starting the night in her crib in the nursery and after her first wake up, I bring her in bed. Luckily the transition to crib was very easy. We started by doing naps in it.

Rock and play in our room. LO1 we moved her to her room at 6 weeks, still in the rock and play. Rnp to crib transition wasn't noticeably bad or good since she was a horrible sleeper either way!
LO2 is still in the rnp in our room at 12 weeks. We won't be moving her to the crib until we are ready for her and big sister to share a room, or until we move. But we will prob transition her to a small pack and play at some point in our room.

She slept in the newborn part of the pack n play for the first four months, in our room. We transitioned her to her crib in her own room at 4 months, and I went amazingly well. She slept through the night at 6 weeks, so it must have been comfy for her.

RnP beside the bed until she wakes up (around 1-2am) and then in bed with us.
E slept with us all the time for the first 6 months.

In my bed until three-ish months then the co-sleeper until five months then the crib.

LO1 slept in a crib in our room from day 1. I wouldn't say she slept WELL, but that's where we put her.
LO2 slept on me, on her tummy in her crib next to my bed, or propped up on a pillow in my bed. yes, I know none of those are super safe, but girlfriend would not sleep on a flat surface or in the RockNPlay, but would sleep amazingly well on her tummy or propped on a pillow. So, we did what we had to do.

LO1 was in cosleeper in our room until 4 months, then crib in her room.
LO2 is still in rock n play in our room at 16 weeks... not sure when we will transition her as her crib is in LO1s room.

You should have a rock 'n play on your poll. That's what we used for 8-10 weeks and it worked great!

LO#1 only slept on me for the first few months, then in our bed from there on out.
#2 slept on me for the first few weeks, then a rock n play until 2.5/3 months, then a co-sleeper until 4 months. He's in his crib now in our room.

DS slept in the rock n play for a brief time in our room, then a few months in his room. After that, he slept in his crib.

DD1 slept in a cradle in our room for 3-4 months.
DD2 slept in a cradle in our room for about 2 nights before we kicked her out into her crib in her own room. ( She was the loudest sleeper ever!)

She has always slept in her crib which is beside me in our bedroom. 4.5 months old. I'm nervous to put her in her room, but might in about a month.

Rock n play for both of my kids! My 5 month old is sleeping in it next to me now. I'm going to move him to his crib in his room very soon though.

Both started out in the bassinet insert of the PnP. Then mamaroo, then RnP. That's when DS moved into his crib because of gas. DD stayed in her RnP. I think at 4-5 months they were both in the crib.
