I put plastic on top and anything else on the bottom.

Usually the top, but if that gets full I will put them in the bottom.

wherever they fit, unless they're plastic ones, then they go on the top, but we don't have many plastic ones.

Plastic on top. I prefer to put non-plastic bowls on the top but I'll put them on the bottom if the top is full.

Top rack for me. We only have sprayers (is that the name?) on the bottom of our dishwasher, not at midlevel as well. If water can't get past the bowls on the bottom the top rack won't get rinsed. Only plates and other flat things on the bottom when I'm loading.

I try and put the ones with the most caked on mess on the bottom, and the less dirty ones on top

Usually on the top rack sometimes on the bottom if I'm running out of space on the top.

I'm a terrible dishwasher loader. I just put them wherever they fit either top or bottom.

Top. I always think that they'd block things from getting clean on the top if I put them on the bottom. Weird?

Depends..if we have pasta the pasta bowls take up so much space on the bottom the soup and cereal bowls have to go on top. Otherwise, the bowls are mostly on the bottom. Overflow is the top.
