I was thinking about getting some dress up clothes for DD (almost 2) because she loves putting on clothes/hats/shoes/etc. She's small and something like the Melissa and Doug dress up clothes are still way too big for her. I'm looking for a mix of items, not just princess dresses. I'm also NOT crafty and have no supplies, so I can't make anything.

Goodwill or yard sales. That is where we have gotten all of M's dress-up clothes.

I just asked for these for Christmas for C (she will be almost 2.5 then). I suggested my MIL look at Halloween sales but focus on accessories like wings, hats, tutus- things that will grow with her. I'm sure there will be princess stuff too but she can't really put full clothes in by herself anyway.

@Foodnerd81: @Mamaof2: No Halloween here...but they do dress up for Carnival which isn't until February-ish.

@Mamaof2: exactly what i was going to say. also parents will sell used costumes on my parenting listserv for a bargain after halloween.
i just sold a ton of charlie's superhero/dress-up stuff for $30.
