I rarely by myself clothes but will be needing to soon because my clothes are starting to get wore out, and I could use a few updated items. The last clothing items I did buy were from Target which included skinny jeans and yoga pants.

I shop mostly at loft when they have big sales (like Black Friday). I like Banana Republic a lot too, but don't go as much because of the expense. I don't shop much either! Sometimes I shop thrift stores but not often cause I haven't found any nicer ones.

@Mrs. Pen: We have a nice thrift shop here that only accepts name brands, good condition type clothes but over the past year or two they really raised their prices. Some shirts are as much as $12 and jeans I saw some for $50....that's not thrifty in my opinion!

I like Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. I've bought a lot from Loft in the past but I vowed to stop because the last few times the salespeople have been so annoying about dealing with online returns.

All over, I am not really brand loyal.
I like gap jeans, old navy workout wear and banana republic, jcrew and talbots for dressier things. I splurge at Boden.

I shop sale racks at Loft, Gap, White house Black market, sometime Cabbie, Nordstrom Rack, and I've found great pieces at wait for it.... Costco. We have a huge outlet mall 15 minutes away and the sale/clearance racks can be great.
I'm in the same boat as you, I need new clothes, work and regular, mine are worn out.

I've been having good luck for the whole family at a thrift store by our new house. I just hate spending money on clothes when my size is in flux (1 year pp, still bfing and thinking about TTC... sometime)

@Bao: my coworker told me about a goodwill in a nicer area that has good stuff but I haven't been there yet. She mentioned that as a general rule, thrift stores and garage sales in upscale areas have better stuff

Similar to @chopsuey: ! Although, I love Club Monaco, my lifestyle doesn't quite fit with their clothes much these days.
In addition to those stores, I frequent JCrew, Zara, Forever 21, and Lululemon. Yeah, I'll admit it - I wear workout clothes as part of my regular SAHM wardrobe about 50% of the time!

Suits and business attire is Macy's, Ann Taylor, Limited, Loft, and I recently discovered White House Black Market. Casual clothes are the same as above, but also Gap and J. Crew. Workout gear is Lucy, and I used to be a die hard only owned Lululemon, but they don't want my size 10, thigh touching money.

Jeans are always American Eagle. I buy tops and dresses from lots of places....generally wherever they are cheap!
Undies and sweats are from VS only...because I'm a snob like that. Haha!

I'm in Canada, but buy most of my clothes in the US.

These days I shop a lot at Target, TJ and BR outlet. Mainly because these stores are close to work & home.
Before when I lived elsewhere I shopped a lot at Loehmanns and Bloomies.

Mainly Loft, Gap, BR, Macy's, Marshalls, Ross (for dresses),TJ Maxx....sometimes Old Navy or Target; however, I feel like clothes from the latter two don't last.
On occasion, I shop Nordstrom Rack (it's just not super close by).
ETA: The JCPenney's by me has gotten a lot better...I've bought clothes for LO there and saw some things I would have tried on if I hadn't bee wrangling her!

I buy almost all of my clothes at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
I also shop at TJ Maxx and Marshall's.

ugh, i am in the same boat! I haven't bought anything for myself in a while...just browse online...IF i had the time/place to want to make an effort to look nice, I'd shop at the places I went to pre-babies: Gap, Piperlime (online), Old Navy, Nordstrom, Zara, Madewell, and Shopbop
