Where do you usually buy your LO's books? I get mine pretty much wherever, when I see a good deal or find a used one in really good condition.

I'm an elementary teacher so I've been buying books out of my own $$ for my class, knowing that I will be using them for my future LO. Now that our baby is due in Sept I will have a pretty good start!
I've also found that Value Village has AMAZING books for less than 1$.

All over. Mostly Amazon or garage sales/thrift stores/etc. I found a bunch at Marshall's really cheap last christmas! I do have a couple Usborne books that I probably paid too much for, but they were cute.

Mostly thrift stores! I've found some at garage sales, baby consignment sales etc... I also receive a lot of books as gifts.
I pretty much never pay full price for a book anymore.

i haven't had to buy any yet since we got a lot of free used ones and some were purchased as gifts. i always browse the kid/baby section at Chapters though and am thinking of buying a few more board books from there.

Most of ours came as gifts, but I will typically only purchase at thrift stores. I can't bring myself to pay more than $.50-$1 for a book until she's older!

I'm such a sucker for children's books... new, used, etc. I've found that our library sells kids books taken out of circulation as well as friends of the library donations for 25 cents!! I usually come home w/ a few each trip to the library...

Check your local library ours is always giving away a bunch of free children books that anyone can take.

I ordered some off amazon and some off totsy. We got a few as gifts and I had a few before LO.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx are my go-to for cheap board books. Also Amazon.

Everywhere. I have such a weakness for kids books! I buy at book stores or consignment stores for newer books and have amassed a decent vintage collection of little golden books from thrift stores. I usually get a couple books for them if I do a big amazon order, especially if there's one I specifically want.

We ordered a few from Amazon until we discovered that Goodwill sells their children's books for 50 cents each. So now that's the only place we buy them! We've gotten some really interesting ones, and also some classics (like Eric Carle).

My LO was lucky to inherit my sistet's book collection. Most of them are in brand new condition. I mainly buy books from Amazon when they used to have the 4 for 3 promo (they got rid of it a couple months ago). I also find interesting book at garage sales.

@littlecasita1122: same! Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Amazon! Sometimes I find a few good ones in the sale section at Barnes.

Barnes & Noble, Target, and Walmart. I need to find some good thrift stores close by!

Only at thrift stores or consignment sales. The Goodwill near me has a great selection and they're 3/$1. She also got a boatload of books as gifts. She has soooo many books!
