Our washer and dryer are in the basement so I bring the clothes up to the living room and fold them on the couch. I really should just bring them upstairs to fold them, since I would be more likely to put them away right away!

I usually dump them on our bed and fold them..
ETA: We have a one-story and I still don't always put things away.

Usually on our bed. If I put them anywhere else I procrastinate and they sit in a basket for a week before I get around to it. If I put them on our bed they have to be dealt with before we go to bed. Plus, if I conveniently "forget" them there then DH helps me put them away at night

On our couch. I usually skip the folding part though and just toss into drawers.

In the hallway of the laundry room (which isn't a real room, more like a doorway between the hall and the garage). If I bring it into the living room or bedroom, it never gets put away.

I always fold them IN the laundry room as I take them out of the dryer.

I dump it on our bed and L does tummy time while I fold.

I fold LO's laundry in her room and our laundry in our room.

@ms.janedoe: I do the same thing. If I don't fold it as it comes out of the dryer, it would never get done!

Our bed for our stuff. R's I usually fold while sitting at the dining room table.

Living room. I like to watch TV while I'm doing it...makes it less annoying.

I take directly from the dryer and fold - if i dumped them in a basket they'd never get folded. Then I leave them on top of the dryer for a week.

@MediaNaranja: Same here. I fold it in the living room. That's where the TV is at and I have the most space.

In our bedroom, on the bench in front b of the TV. That core takes me at least a hour. I watch more TV than fold.

On our kitchen island, which is right next to our laundry room. I take the clothes out of the dryer one at a time and hang up hanging clothes in the laundry room. Then I take the basket to the island to fold. We have an open floor plan so I can watch tv - but if I'm standing I'm more likely to finish quicker.
