I have always used one of those step baskets that go on the stairs and throw them in there.
But they are getting older and their shoes are getting bigger so I need more room! Where do you keep kid shoes?

Ikea has these adorable kid-sized shoe racks so we got one of those. But with the dirt from the shoes and the dog fur always flying, they get SUPER dirty and the shoes get so dusty so quickly. So I'm thinking of figuring out a solution to get them up off the ground.
That doesn't help you, sorry!!

I just keep them by the front door.... Apparently L doesn't have enough shoes for me to need a basket.

@tinyperson: That's what I should do too! They both pretty much wear the sneakers every day!

@Mamaof2: She has a pair of ankle strap shoes and if she sees them, it's a looming day of buckling and unbuckling, so those are out of sight as much as possible!

We have an IKEA enclosed shoe drawer-thingy, two of them...installed in our front entry. Dh and I pretty much fill those with our own shoes, so we line up LO's shoes neatly on top. Plus, I think it's cute to see little baby shoes when I walk in.

We have one of those benches with cubbies underneath. There's a small shelf between the seat and the cubby, my son's shoes fit perfectly in there and i can fit a total of 8 pairs for now.
