If you don't have a changing area? We keep ours on the bottom of an end table in the living room right now. I don't love it, but it's convenient.

Ours stay against a wall in the living room. We have a changing pad on her dresser but have used it maybe a dozen times. Instead we just change her on the living room floor or our bed. We keep 10-20 diapers in a basket in the livingroom, the rest in our storeroom.

We used to have two areas: (1) DD's changing pad sits on top of her dresser, so we keep diapers and wipes in the top drawer, and (2) a small bin under our coffee table.
The living room set up was really convenient when DD was tiny and needed to be changed every two seconds. Now that she is older, we take her up to her room to be changed 95% of the time.

We have two areas as well. Downstairs in the bathroom/laundry room we have a changing pad on top of the washer. The wipers and diapers just sit on the washer next to the changing pad. Upstairs in his room, we have a changing pad on his dresser. The wipes and diapers are in the top drawer of the dresser.
Fun fact: that top drawer being open so I can get to wipes and diapers has saved Xander from falling on the floor a couple times now! It's a good baby-catcher!

In a basket on a low bookcase in the living room (also holds board games and some of E's toys). We also have some stashes in the bookcase in his bedroom for MOTN diaper changes.

In her room - they're on her changing table in baskets.
In the living room - we keep a plastic tub with wipes, diapers, and diaper cream. We also have baby wipes all over the house b/c we use them constantly.
