And what does it look like? Our new house has a big breakfast nook and our small table will look silly there!

We got it from a little local furniture store. It's a tall round table with dark wooden legs and a marble top. It has matching faux-leather chairs.

My FIL took it from his neighbor's trash pile on the curb and fixed the broken legs....it is dark brown and solid wood! We bought some Ikea chairs to go with it!

We definitely bought ours from Amazon without seeing it in person...and it works! It's dark wood, round, with a leaf that can extend it. We also got the matching chairs from Amazon, ignoring the nerves about how comfortable they might (not) be, and we love them!

My parents house. It is about 25 years old and it is just beautiful. My Mom refinished it twice when we were kids. I'm going to need to refinish the chairs soon, the arms are pretty worn. I'll post a pic tonight.
It's funny, my Dad even mentioned the table in his Father of the Bride speech at our wedding. It's special.

Pier 1 !!
I can't find a photo of it though, it's out of season now. It's hand carved solid wood. Very beautiful.

Ours is a hand-me-down Amish piece from a local place. It's light oak and a little too "country" for me, but there's nothing wrong with it so we're not replacing it. If I were buying a new table though, I would go to Ethan Allen because we got our china cabinet there and would love a table to match.

A hand me down It was DH's grandparents, I think they got it in the early 80s. It's actually pretty hideous lol. The china hutch it came with is beauuutiful, but the table is scratched up really bad and the chairs are u.g.l.y. I can't wait til we can afford to replace it!!

Ikea, but I bought it off my (ex)roommate for like 40$. It's the solid wood one that folds down on either side with drawers in the middle. Super versatile.

@Chillybear: Gorgeous! I so want a bench like that but our kitchen doesn't have a good spot for one.
Ours is a hand me down and we re-finished it and I reupholstered the chairs.

IKEA -- it's awesome because it has leaves that are built in that pull out & go back in really easily.

@sera_87: Jealous! I love that one, been wanting one of those for a while.
Ours is just a round oak that we bought off an old landlord. Eventually I'll get around to refinishing it.

Ours is a rustic, farmhouse looking table from a place called Modern Rust. We are absolutely in love with it!! They have an online site with all different dimensions and stains.

We don't have a kitchen table, just a dining room table, but it's from Pottery Barn--we got it on Craigslist, and my parents gave us chairs to go with it.

we bought ours from a local furniture store. Our house is super old, so we wanted something that matched. It's a black farm-style table.

Ours is from World Market and I love it, we bought it with a bench and 4 chairs. I can't find a great picture so here's a link

My parents house. It was the kitchen table I grew up with and both my brothers used when they first moved out before they got their own dinning set and now we are using it.

Ikea- we have the one with the leaves also. I had a really hard time finding one when I was looking.

I heart my kitchen table. It's from a local shop called Ulfåsa Möbler; it's heavy, solid wood blocks in a rustic country style. We always get comments on it, but it was actually for outdoor use! But WE NEVER USE IT It's currently upside down in our "storage room" that will hopefully, one day be a proper dining room. Sigh.
