DS is almost 11 months and juuuuust starting to take his first few steps. I would really like him to learn to walk without wearing shoes but it's getting cold out. Therefore, I was going to just put socks on him. But then it's easy to slip. Everywhere that I've looked for socks in his size don't have the grippers on the bottom. Can you let me know where you find these?

What about Trumpettes? DD's Trumpettes have grips on the bottom and I think they make them in bigger sizes.

I think my SIL swears by Carter's socks. I think they have the size like written on the bottom in like a rubber/gripper. Like I said I'm pretty sure that's the brand but I'm not 100% sure!

Most socks I've found in over 12 m sizes have grippers, just the circo and carters brands I think. They're ok.
But since you want them for winter too, I can highly recommend REI kids hiking socks. They have toddler sizes and have grippers and they are cozy and warm....and they don't come off! My kids each have a pair that they wore this year and I am going to go buy more this week bc I really love them.

@MUI831: we have the same issue but have found plenty of gripper socks, but none that stay on his feet. So, I bought a pair of "house slippers" aka robeez that are for inside only. Problem solved

Gap socks have grippers and stay on great, plus at 5 for 10 bucks, the price is right.

We buy them at target and wal mart. They run really small so I size up. -
We buy Hanes brand ones from Target - they come in 6 packs, we had them in 6-12 months and now LO is wearing the 12-24 month ones. He runs all the time and still slips now and then but not as much as when he's wearing non-gripper socks.

I have grippers in Carters (12-24m size) and I think I had some Robeez in smaller sizes that had them?
