Carters, old navy, hm, target!

Pretty much exclusively Carters. They had some door crasher sales so I got a bunch of shorts and t-shirts.

Gap. I stock up when they have a sale (40% at least). Their cotton basics hold up really well in the sun & with sunscreen.

Target and Old Navy

DH and I have this thing with the thermostat - he's constantly hot, and I have this very narrow window of temperatures I will tolerate (I'm either really hot or freezing). The end result of this is that DS needs to sleep in long sleeve PJs year round because he's either going to get cold when the temp drops overnight, or because the AC is blowing on him all night long.

SO. When Carter's sells their PJ 4-packs, there's always 1-2 that are pants + short sleeve top that he can't wear to bed at night because he will get cold and wake up and make my life miserable. Answer: When DS is chilling at home, he's wearing those short sleeve PJs - they are soft and comfy and I don't care if they get thrashed, and the long pants keep him from scuffing up his knees so bad when he's tearing around the park.

For daycare basics, I don't bother with nice clothes either - I mostly go for comfort since he has to nap and I imagine sleeping in jeans or a collared shirt is annoying. I like the cotton of the t-shirts and shorts at Target - they are soft and wash well. I can usually get then for $3 a piece when there's a sale. Occasionally I can get similar stuff from Old Navy or Kohl's, but its just faster to pick up a few things when I'm already at Target.

DS usually has nicer clothes gifted to him from Gymboree, Nordstrom, Zara and H&M and he wears those to church on Sundays.

Im loving some of the Gap Ts for boys but they are bit expensive for my taste right now ($10/shirt).

Our local consignment sale is in 2 weeks so I will see what I can find there. Mostly thats where I get the nicer clothes and then supplement with basics (because those get worn more and Id rather just buy new).

I got a great deal on some old navy stuff a couple weeks ago. i get their basic cotton t-shirts, tanks, shorts, and capris, and then buy some nicer dresses, a few nicer tops, etc. from Hanna Andersson or Tea (and often from consignment shops).
