DH and I haven't taken a vacation with just the two of us in a few years, and after taking a cruise with the girls recently, we realize we really need to have some time with just the two of us... but we can't figure out where we want to go. All we know is we want to relax and do nothing since we don't get to do that at home HAHAHA
Where would you go?

For just relaxing, I would go to Anguilla, which is where we had our honeymoon. Or to an all inclusive somewhere so we had no worries about money.

For doing nothing, an all inclusive is the way to go. We went to Playa and it was very relaxing.

We just went to Turks in March. We were going to go to Aruba in November (where we honeymooned) but now going to Mexico for a friend's wedding. I would go back to St Thomas and St John in a heartbeat.

The Dominican Republic is where we went on our honeymoon. It was fantastic! Like PP said--you can't go wrong with an all inclusive child free resort

For me, if I really plan it, I would make an effort to go to a place where it is very difficult to go with kids. For example, a small town in Italy where you have to drive hours to get to. It can be very charming when you wake up to the sounds of church bells and then go and stroll around casually, or pack a picnic with bread, cheese and wine. Or even Paris would be nice without kids constantly nagging.
I just thought you can go with kids to a beach vacation easily so I would just save beach for another time. But that's just me 
ETA: Oh. Actually go to Malta. It is quite complicated to get to which I don't think anyone would go there with kids, but it is such a beautiful place to visit.

On a cruise to I don't care where. Haha. We both love cruises and would love to go on another one where we can relax and just enjoy each other (or our own peace and quiet our own way).

I second the all inclusive! We've done that a few times in Mexico and also in Antigua on our honeymoon. Its so much less stressful. And you can find small, boutique type all inclusives. They're not all monstrosities!

If you don't want to do anything I'd rent a lake house, a beach house or do an all inclusive or cruise. Personally, I spend lots of money on vacations where we're doing stuff but don't like to spend a lot of money if we're just laying around relaxing, so I'd probably rent a beach house wherever is close and cheap.

I would go somewhere that is easy to get too and not too far of a drive or plane ride. I'd want to maximize the amount of child free relaxation time and not spend that precious time on layovers in airports or driving for hours after a plane ride to get to your hotel. But that's just us, we like to keep it simple!!

We went to la romana (DR) to an all inclusive and south beach for our two trips sans Ds! The dr trip was amazing! All we did was eat sleep and relax by the pool or beach. (We were w D's coworkers for the Miami trip so that was different fun).
We're planning on Vegas next winter for our first trip without both! LOs!
