I'm sure there have been threads about this, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
We're moving! In like a month! Yay, but OMG! We're going to have SO much space that I won't even know what to do with it all!
But one thing for sure...D and I have had a full bed in our tiny apartment for years, and I want a new one. We don't have a huge budget, especially with getting a new mattress as well.
Where'd you get your bed from? Pictures most appreciated!

Our bed is a leather wood piece from Art van, a local chain.
Our guest room/nursery has an upholstered headboard from way fair.
Ds' bedroom set is also from wayfair

The bed frame and board is from Pottery Barn- it was a big splurge for us when we moved here. More importantly we got a tenpurpedic mattress and I am still in love!

We have a tempurpedic from one of those big mattress stores and just have it on the box spring. We used to have a sort of sleigh shaped frame on our old bed but found bed frames to be dangerous/annoying when dd was first mobile so we're waiting til #2 is a little bigger (due oct so probably awhile) to get a new frame!

We got our bed frame at the same local furniture store where we bought our mattress. We spent lots on a nice mattress so we bought a simple metal frame.

Built it. Probably cost $200-500 for the lumber and stain (I don't remember because it was years ago, sorry for the wide range). I LOVE it.

Ours is from Ikea and the mattress is just from a local store... But our bed frame has held up great through a move and over 7 years!

I got our bedroom set from a furniture warehouse. I got a $5k bedroom set for only $2.500. I then got an IComfort mattress with adjustable moving frame at a discount mattress outlet. I paid half of the retail price.

Ours is just a queen mattress on a basic metal frame because I haven't found a headboard I like. But we needed a bigger bed. Best decision ever.

We had a budget as well and wanted to get a nice mattress and linen so we actually built our bed with plans from the Ana White website.

I was really impressed with the upholstered beds at Sears. We got a king size bed for around $500 and I still love the look of it. Our mattress is nothing special but it is sooooo comfy and the king was worth the splurge!

We have the Valencia bed from PB, but I was going to suggest Joss & Main if you are looking for a nice deal. I haven't ordered any furniture from J&M but I have been really impressed with the things that I have purchased from there, mostly rugs and decor items like a huge clock, etc. What drives me crazy about PB is the utterly ridiculous shipping charges and delivery surcharges on top of that. J&M shipping even on furniture items is always minimal. They especially have stunning tufted/upholstered beds like @Mrs. High Heels: posted. Gorgeous!

IKEA platform bed with drawers and ikea latex memory foam mattress. We love it!
It was our first "real" bed and our first queen bed when we moved to our new apartment a few months ago, so I see exactly where you're coming from!

Our bed frame is from Ikea, and our mattress is a Serta from Big Lots. I think the bed frame has been discontinued. Both were purchased when I moved into my first one bedroom apartment after college, and they are still holding up well.
We will probably replace them after we purchase our first home. We have a queen bed now, and I would love to have a king.

We just upgraded to a king cherry sleigh bed from Havertys back in January. The bed itself wasn't a bad price. We also splurged on a memory foam mattress. Thank goodness for zero interest financing!

@LibbyLou: The bed only arrived mid-April, so we haven't put it together yet since we want to repaint our room first. I don't know if this particular bed is still available, but I'm sure it will pop up again. I've heard from others that Joss & Main has held up well. I've only purchased wall clocks and decor from there, but I've been super happy with everything I've ever gotten from there! Shipping is also only a flat rate $6.

We just sleep on a crappy full mattress on a bedframe (but hey, we slept on an even crappier mattress on the floor for two years, so progress!), but I have been eyeing this bed for when we upgrade and move into our new home. The new home is just a twinkle in the eye, however, so it'll be a while

I bought microfiber sleeper sofas from Overstock twice. They're both incredibly comfy. I gave one to my parents when I moved years ago, and still have the other one. Unfortunately it's just a little too short for DH, so we bought a queen bed from Sleepy's. But the sofa is still way comfier, and we've gone back to it a few times if one of us had a backache.

We got ours from Room & Board which is pricey but we've had it for 7 years and don't plan on changing it any time soon.
But I was also going to suggest Joss & Main. I've purchased many other things from them and have been very pleased. They have a lot of beds if I remember correctly. And fantastic customer service!
Also, not sure where you're located, but Bob's Discount Furniture is surprisingly nice. When I was a single gal I got a dresser (a nice long one with a mirror) from them expecting it to be cheap looking but the price was right. It was SO nice. Solid, well made. Got tons of compliments on it and no one believed me when I said where I got it. I recommend to everyone!
Also, Home Decorators I have been happy with for other small pieces.

@Ginabean3: Nice! The canopy one came with alternate boards for the top of the head and foot if we decided to take the canopy off to mix things up, so maybe we'll have matching ones down the line! We just got it last month and love it too!

get a mattress from costco! SO cheap and so comfy! we made our headboard based on a ana white design. looks like this.
