IKEA! Some of their stuff doesn't hold up but some do; you just have to be careful of the construction. We desperately need a new mattress. Hopefully one day soon!
DD1 is a vintage solid wood twin that was our friends growing up. Her mattress was a Serta from BJ.

We got our bed from Bassett Furniture during a 70% off clearance sale. Its usually when they are discontinuing a particular finish/color (so if you want matching pieces, snap it up while you can!) If you go in store, you can usually get an additional discount if you buy the floor model.

Ours is the Redin Park bed in Cal King but it a now-discontinued medium walnut color (lighter than this photo). We got our's for $599.
Our mattress set is a Cal King from Costco - Stearns and Foster mattresses with a memory foam top. SO SOFT AND YUMMY! It was like $1500.

@mrschickpea: I looooooove it! It is so comfortable. I used to have an IKEA memory foam mattress, but Casper is a whole new level. Also, they delivered the day after I ordered it for free and customer service was incredible!

We bought new mattresses & I needed a new bed but was on a budget. I searched for so long but never found anything I loved. So i just used a bed frame & bought a tapestry from urban outfitters to hang above the bed and it turned out perfectly! I know its not everyone's style though!

@plantains: We also just got a casper bed... I have no more shoulder issues! I love it so much! Did you get the king size?

@bunnylove08: Yes I did, I feel like I am sleeping on an ocean hahahaha. It is huuuuuuge. I am so excited because we have an almost 3 year old plus twins on the way and I have visions of the whole family piling into the ginormous bed to watch movies in the future.

@plantains: OMG twins! Congrats!!! love love love casper. I tried it out at the showroom and told DH we had to get it. The bed was back ordered so we had to wait 2 days for it.

We got our bed from Haiku designs. Customer service wasn't great but the beds are amazing.

The one we got isn't carried there anymore, but it's a white leather headboard that breaks down into two pieces. We have an additional headboard longitudinally on my side so I can co-sleep with kids and they don't roll off.
