I'm heading to Prague in a couple of weeks (yipee!), but it's for work and DH won't be there so it's not exactly a vacation. I'm itching to go somewhere warm in February or March!

We are going to Asheville over New Years Weekend with another couple. But that is all. Baby is due in March, so we probably won't do a vacation next summer, just a long weekend or something.

San Antonio! It wasn't an intentional 'babymoon,' but it is now! Staying on the Riverwalk for 2 days right after X-mas. Can't wait!!

We are spending Christmas in southern California with DH's family, so that's sort of a vacation, so of just getting together with family. Then we are planning to go to Alaska in March- nothing booked yet but we are SUPER excited about it.

@Bookworm: I did that last year. We walked to the Alamo and along the Riverwalk. We went to an amazing restaurant called Biga on the Banks. I highly recommend it!

@jojogirl - we went there for our babymoon! We had such a good time (even when there was a hurricane!)
If you are looking for recommendations - we loved Little Arches hotel and The Tides restaurant was amazing - make reservations for an ocean view table - you're so close you can see crabs climbing on the rocks just feet away!

My next vacation sounds lame.... but I'm excited about it. It's going to be DH's and my first baby free over night trip. We're going to stay local and go to a hotel on the beach in Dec.
After that we'll do a long weekend camping in march.

We are flying to North Carolina in January and California in March; but both are trips to visit family so not really "vacations" (boo!).
Not sure where our next real vacation will be.

Everyone's trips sound so fun! I always like having something to look forward to, even if it's just a weekend trip somewhere local.
I'm getting excited for Prague, especially since it will be all decked out for Christmas when I'm there. Wish DH was coming though!

We were planning on going to Cambodia over Christmas, but plane tickets went from $2,000/person to $2,900/person this past week! What the crap?! So we're trying to find another warm international location to spend Christmas. Any suggestions?

We're going on a cruise in a couple weeks : ) stopping in FL and twice in the Bahamas. Then we will be stuck in the house 'cause we'll be broke after we finish buying our first house (in the process now!) haha. Maybe we can vacation in different bedrooms in the house

Im flying home in 3 weeks for a nice 5 week long visit!
We're going on a ini-break to London next weekend. I think we're going to do Scotland/Ireland in the spring and then the following Spring, after DH gets back from deployment, we're going to take several weeks and travel all around Europe as a last hurrah before we move back to the states. We know we're doing Italy, Germany and Greece. I want to hit up Switzerland and possibly Poland too.

We're heading to the UK for three weeks at the start of Dec and then heading to Chicago to visit family for 4 weeks before heading back to Australia. We're also planning a trip to New Zealand in March. We love to travel and DD will have completed her first round the world trip by 7 months of age!

We're taking a big family vacation (MIL/FIL, 2 BsIL, 2 SsIL, 4 nephews, DH's aunt and uncle and grandmother) somewhere down in NC next summer. DH and his family used to go when he and his brothers were younger, and this past year was the first time they'd gone in like 15 years. We had a lot of fun this past summer, and I'm already looking forward to having DS there.
We're also hoping to take a long weekend trip down to Richmond to see my BFF sometime early next year.
