Piperlime is having a sale and I had saved some money for some new shoes. Initially I really wanted black booties to wear in the fall/winter with black tights and dresses/skirts. But I found these camel colored ones and really like them as well. My question is, if I got the camel ones, would they work okay with black tights/black outfits?
Which do you like better?

I think the camel ones go fine with black outfits, but they will definitely stand out/ make a statement so you might not be able to wear as frequently as you might like.

@looch: Ah. Well I love BOTH shoes - so the aesthetic of either isn't my concern 
But moreso versatility. Which would I be able to wear more often (work, weekend, etc)? I feel like I LOVE the camel one more, but the black is slightly more versatile. The camel would look great with skinny jeans, but I can't wear jeans to work... See my dilemma?! (I am probably WAY over thinking this!)

I feel like the black could be dressed up more than the camel.

@looch: It's only a $10 price difference. True about dressing up the black ones... Work is business casual, so either work in that situation.
My husband likes the camel ones better.

Yeah that's where I am wavering too.. I know the black is a tad more versatile, but I *like* the camel better. Price is similar enough to not be a deciding factor.

Refresh my memory, does pipeline have free returns? Can you get both and try them on with some outfits and return one pair?

@looch: yes, they do. They are owned by gap so I think they have the same policies - and they usually pay for returns. That is a possibility - but honestly I don't trust myself to remember to return them. I am SO bad with that!

@Mrs. Pen: I think the black would make your legs look longer if paired with black tights where the camel would break it up.

@Ash: Well, that's not too much of a concern only because I'm 5'8 with all my height in my legs I have to buy talls in jeans!

@Mrs. Pen: They are a little pricey for a SAHM over here, but they really are a GREAT price for Coach. I know they'll last forever and hold up well as far as staining and wear/tear. And boots in Steve Madden are close to the same price, and I'd buy Coach if I could over SM any day, ya know? As you can see, I prepared a lot of justification:)

I voted black initally for the versatility but I do like the camel one more. I'm in the hunt for booties myself. I want a pair I can dress uo and dress down but have not found it yet

@PrincessBaby: Yeah, I much prefer higher quality for shoes. Both of these are leather and reputable brands. Especially for heels, higher quality usually means they're more comfortable! Since I work 10.5 hour days that is important to me

Tough choice. I voted for the camel because I love the color. But if you want to wear with black tights maybe the black would be better.

@Mrs. Pen: I prefer the camel and I wear brown boots with black tights or outfits all the time!! Lots of people do and is less boring than all black. Get the camel! I guess I'm also over wedge heeled boots...or rather, were never into them. So, camel FTW!

i voted for the camel ones!!
i bought the toms desert wedges after seeing them on hb boards last fall and i like them! the heel is not too high, so easy to run after a toddler and wear them for every day purposes. they have black, camel, taupe, and other new colours/patterns too. i reaaaalllyy wanted the taupe ones, but they were sold out everywhere at the time, so got the camel ones! i wear them with black tights and dresses/tunics etc too!
