We are stuck between two very different names for our baby girl. I love them both! What do you guys think?

I think HB tends to lean a bit more towards unique names. But Savannah is a beautiful classic that you can't go wrong with

I think they're both lovely. I personally would go with savannah Victoria because I like shortening names into nicknames. I think it also depends on sibling names or potential sibling names.

@lovehoneybee: @T.H.O.U.: thanks ladies.
@LindsayLou: first baby so no siblings. Dogs are both girls lol named Lyric and Riley.

I like to run a litmus test in my brain. How would your daughter sound introducing herself in an interview as Piper or as Savannah? I personally think it's important to consider how a name will grow with a child into adulthood. To me, piper is cute. But I'm hesitant as to how well it will age with the child.

I like Savannah for the versatility! Sounds very good on an adult or child and can have a lot of variation for nicknames if you like. If we had a girl, Savannah would have been on the top of our list.

I would switch the order of the names personally. But I love 3 out of the 4 so really can't go wrong!

@JennyLayneAZ: Are you planning on more kids? Are there other names you'd consider for future kids? The style of the first name you choose might influence future naming. And I agree with others that savannah is a wonderful name for both a child and an adult, while piper may be a little cutesy.

@LindsayLou: I don't know if we will have any more. We're a little bit older so it's kind of up in the air.

I like Savannah. Such a pretty name. Piper is nice too but more trendy and harsh sounding, I think.

I much prefer Savannah over Piper. But I don't love Victoria as a middle name with Savannah. I feel like it would be better with a shorter middle name.

I like both of those names. I agree with previous posters. I would rather have attorney Savannah Miller instead of Piper Smith or whatever your last name is. Piper sounds like a little girl's name. It's a cute little girl's name, but I would be worried about it aging well.

@JennyLayneAZ: I voted for Savannah but I am a little biased as it is DDs name

@JennyLayneAZ: Well in that case, I say use whatever name you absolutely love. If the thought of not using it makes you feel sad, use it. I actually really like savannah Delaney or savannah piper as well.

I voted for Savannah Victoria but I actually think I like Savannah Delaney even more if that is an option. I agree with pps that Savannah is more versatile and ages better, and I think switching the middle name has a softer sound as both names don't end in that "ah" sound.

So hard!!! On our due date thread I didn't think you could top Savannah, but my gosh I love Piper too. Your first and middle name combos are awesome!
Picking Savannah for the win! Using @Littlebit7: @Mrs. Peanut: @MamaCate: logic Savannah will serve her well in years to come!!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and votes! I still have no idea which way we are going to go!

i love savannah, but with victoria, it's very formal, so it's up to you! piper delaney is more causal/fun.

Lovely choices. Victoria is our second DD's middle, too, so I'm biased toward Savannah Victoria

I like Savannah best as a first name, but I would prefer it with a less flowery middle name. Something shorter would balance it. I had a friend "Savannah May" growing up, I think that name flows really nicely.

I love Piper and don't really think it's cutesy like previous posters have said. I'd be fine hiring a doctor or a lawyer named Piper
