I know there are a lot of City Mini bees out there! If you have/had an infant car seat to go with, what did you use and why? DH is leery of using an adapter because he thinks they're less sturdy but I'm trying to convince him otherwise.

We used a Chicco Keyfit 30 with our City Mini and it was GREAT. LO was very stable in it. It clicks in to the adapter just like it clicks into the base. No worries here.

We used a Graco Snugride and it was very sturdy. It clicks on and has an extra strap you can buckle across if you want. Worked out well.

Same as @BlueWolverine: , loved mine! They had a recall on the universal adapter a few months ago but the ones being sold now are totally fine.

Graco Snugride 22 (the smaller one) with an adaptor. No issues, but we honestly wore DS more 
our City Mini, DS did/does not

We used the snugride 35 with the adapter and it was super sturdy. I never worried/don't worry.

Chicco keyfit here too! Worked great with the stroller but what I really loved was how easily it locked into the car seat base. There was never any readjusting necessary, it always slipped in and locked.

We have a Britax B-Safe on our City Mini. There's a special adaptor just for that car seat available.

Lots of Chicco's! That's what we're leaning towards so that's great to hear. I think once I bring DH into the store and show him how awesome the City Mini is and show him an adapter he'll change his tune

We haven't used ours yet, but we have the City Mini GT and the Chicco Keyfit 30. I assembled the stroller and adaptor bar and it seems very sturdy, but the carseat is still in its box...planning to pull it out to install it in the car soon, so I'll test out the adaptor then but I'm not worried.

i had the city mini and chicco keyfit 30 with adapter. it worked well but....... i feel like i'm the minority here that i did find it a little top-heavy with the car seat on top of the stroller. i mostly noticed if we were on uneven pavement, grass etc. it wasnt a big issue, but in retrospect i might have considered a snap'n'go instead of the adaptor (they were the same price when i bought my city mini).
LOVE the city mini once DS was out of the infant seat though, so no regrets there.

We also used the Chicco Keyfit with our city mini. It was so sturdy...had absolutely no problems.
